should moteijunas be an sf? i would like to think so just cuz i think he would get pushed around by the center’s and PF’s of the nba like dwight, garnett and even duncan he is a good shooter and a very good wing man he could make the mismatches dif. for other teams just like a bargnani or dirk(not comparing him to them) just want him to have the same position as those guys do a pure sf

He isn’t quick or athletic enough to play sf.  He did average 8 boards per game last year, which is very good in the Euroleague, where rebounds aren’t as easy to get as in the NBA.  He isn’t going to be Reggie Evans, but he will play the 4 if he is to reach his full potential.

I don’t know about his shooting, he doesn’t look as good shooter as Anderson is, but good shooting is mostly a result of years of practicing. Mobility is what really impress about Motiejunas, while he isn’t fast enough to play 3 he is very fast as a 4 and his move really look exceptionally quick he moves very well and has a variety of moves offensively in the post.

Comparision to Bargnani wouldn’t be very missing I guess. But Motiejunas likes to operate in the low/high post more where he has a very wide skillset to get his shot off while playing back to the basket, instead of face to the basket which is prefered by Barg.

It’s too early to tell how succesfull will he be , he hasn’t playd a game neither NBA, neither summer league, but I believe that he has very good tools to become a high level scorer.

I think he could be a player like luis scola. He is 6-11 to 7ft. He is pretty tall, he is a skilled player. I think that at best he could be a poor mans pau gasol.
