The KD injury has me wondering who do you think is the one Warrior they can’t win without? Even if any one of their big 4 goes down they still have a top 3 to challenge any other trio in the league but who is most important to winning a title? They have really had amazing luck when it comes to avoiding major injuries compared to other teams. Everybody knows about all the injury-plagued teams they played during their championship run but they haven’t had to deal with anything like that from their top players. The only time it sort of did was in the finals  last year, while not an injury, with Green getting suspended and that totally shifted the series.

For me it’s Durant. He’s so vital considering their lack of frontcourt depth length on defense and size. I think missing Currys playmaking could be covered up well enough by Livingston and Green and his shooting by KD and Klay. You’d miss Klay on defense especially but they still have enough shooters. Green going down would be a close second. Don’t need go into how great of an all around player he is but once again the biggest thing is the defense he brings.

Also not that I want to see one of them get hurt but it would a lot of intrigue into the playoffs to see them deal with some adversity. But whose absence do you think could most easily be covered up and who is most expendable?

I’d say KD too, with Draymond close behind. They basically mortgaged the rim defense they had to get KD, and he’s one of their biggest rim protectors. Without him, they might rely a little too heavily on Zaza and Javale

They all bring so much to the team though. I’d say Klay is the most dispensable out of their core 4, but without him in game 6 last year against OKC, they don’t make it to the Finals and we very well could have a championship

    I think Draymond.

He’s really one of their only true defensive players, he’s also basically their point guard. Sure Curry plays point but we all know he’s really a shooting guard by nature. Without Green they lose a lot of their ability to keep the ball moving, which is one of their biggest assets. Then there’s the factor that he is the heart of the team, he’s really the only passionate guy who screams and hustles (and does stupid sh!t too). The others are very laid back and chill, and don’t seem be great leaders. Draymond is definitely the leader on this team and if it wasn’t for his drive they’d have a lot more losses.

So without Draymond they lose about half of their defense and half of their passing, I just think that’s two vital things in basketball you can’t afford to lose.

Trust me I loathe Draymond to my very core, so it pains me to even speak about him in a positive light, but he IS the Warriors. His suspension in the finals was literally the reason the Cavs came back and won that series, you’re lying to yourself if you believe otherwise. It massively swung the momentum in the Cavs favor and really deflated the Warriors.

I hate him too. And I agree, he is the glue that holds this team together.  Last night, 14assists 8 boards with some blocks, steals, and a couple threes.  His all around game is sticky.

This isnt even close to me. Draymond Green. I strongly believe over 82 games this team would fall apart without him. He holds everyone accountable and keeps everyone from getting that superstar ego.  Nobody on Golden State would debate this Dray is the leader there if you ask anybody. The others are also the leaders but Dray is the alpha of the group. Hes the real MVP.
