I gotta say it has to be Chris Douglas Roberts!

It’s really close between Ariza and Douglas-Roberts. Many people will give the edge to Ariza simply because his team has more wins, but CDR has been more efficient from the field. My vote is for CDR.

    Brook Lopez is my vote.

Even though Brook has shown what he is capable of in his rookie season, he is steamrolling his fellow sophomore peers.

Also, the Nets struggles are magnified by their early injuries. Seriously they had the toughest November schedule and a couple weeks of only 8 eligible players. Brook should not be penalized for the nets poor start–in fact he should be even more rewarded for he was the nets ONLY option on offense and teams honed in on him, yet he still lit up the box score with 20, 10 and 2 blocks.

have to go with CDR, Ariza, or Channing Frye on this. I’ll give the edge to CDR though even though he’s on a horrible team.

I’m a rockets fan, and i like seeing ariza play,
    but really, for most improved,
    id say it’s Carl Landry

I think Aaron Brooks would have won a MIP award if you were comparing the beginning of last season to the end of last season. I think Brooks is playing at the same high level he was at the end of last season when he filled in for injuries and tore it up. He has improved his numbers from last season, but it is only because he has been playing as many minutes as he did at the end of last season, all of this season. I really like Aaron Brooks as a player, and not to take anything away from him, but I really don’t think he has improved all that much, he just didn’t ride the pine for the beginning of this season so his numbers are better.

My first choice is Carl Landry in Houston. I watched him last night and couldn’t believe how much better he is this year. I always said Tyler Hansbrough reminds me of Carl Landry [no Aran, not Mark Madsen – LOL], and now I may have to start saying that Hansbrough reminds me of Carl Landry.

My other choice is Ersan Ilyasova in Milwaukee. He was a high draft choice as a kid, like many young Europeans, he failed to produce and returned to Europe. After maturing emotionally and physically, he decided to return to the Bucks and now he’s a very productive starter.

I don’t think Ariza’s actually improved his game, it has more to do with his change of scenery and role on the team. This year he’s actually the main scorer, I think he’s Houston’s first option. Somebody mentioned his shooting percentages, which aren’t very high, he’s scoring points but taking a lot more shots than he did in LA.

Glad to see three Houston players on there. Ariza, Brooks, and Landry…but I watch most games and I’d have to say I knew Brooks and Landry had this in them since last season it was only a matter of chance. I wasn’t too sure what to expect of Ariza. I think it should go to Landry because he is the go to guy once he steps in most of the time and leads our awesome second unit with Lowry and Budinger. It’s great to watch, he has a nice faceup game and can play down low. He has some explosiveness and his shot looks real good. He just rises over you. His FG and Free Throw percentage are pretty darn good as well. & He rebounds pretty good too. He’s my MIP. Still plenty of time though.

ill tell you why it wont be frye or wallace. frye is putting up similar numbers to what he did in his rookie year and usualyl most improved goes to someone who hasnt played nearly as well as they are playing now. wallace wont get it because hes’ also not playing alot better then he has in the past. hes playing better but not most improved better. id have to say someone like cdr, ariza, landry and maybe brooks
