Had a good stat line today..

    36 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds, 4 steals

    Looks good..
Until you see the 39 shots!
    39!!!!!

I love Ellis, I think he’s an awesome player, but I wanna know what you guys think of him, and his game today.

Ellis is a beast an he is underrated he can score and he is super fast i think top 5 speed in the nba but he dont et no credit because he plays for a sorry team i mean there record is 12-27 and they play in the west with alot of guards so thats also why he dont get credit and he played good today he had 36pts 8ast and 5rebs but he shot 39 times that is awful lot of shots but they still got the win

    Did his team win?

Edit: Yes he did. Since they won, it’s very hard to fault him.

That’s not a very good game from Ellis. I think a lot of the guards, including Ellis have a tendency to gun on that team sometimes … no question Ellis is a talented player, but he only made 14 out of 39 shots in this game. That’s really inefficient and I think part of it is the system they run, but I think there’s a lot of players in the NBA who could put up impressive scoring numbers given 39 shots. For instance .. Ellis finished the game with 36 and Corey Maggette finished with 32 points on only 14 field goal attempts.

I watched the game today…he is a specail player with incredible speed….but Don Nelson lets those guys do whatever they want out there lol Its like watching a YMCA game. It was like Monta shot every single shot out there today lol

It was maybe his worst game in a LONG time. That being said he still did other things very well. This is very unusual for him. No worries on my part. He also is a very efficient player so this type of thing happens once in a blue moon

I like Monta, but he’s a trigger happy player playing in a trigger happy offense. He’s taken 31 and 39 shots the last two games… 28 for 70.

he had to take that many shots, he was in many situations where it was late in the shot clock and he had it in a one on one situtation.
