gregoden08ParticipantWay too high. He probably won’t even declare. But even if he does, I doubt he will b a top-10 pick because all of the big men in this draft.

blackflash234ParticipantI beg to differ. I actually think that if Whiteside were to declare this year, he would be a top 5 pick guranteed. He has soo much potential and a top 5 team could take a gamble on him. He can go as high as 3rd to Golden State. If Sacramento were to get a top 5 pick, there is no way they’ll pass on a guy like Whiteside who could be a complementary piece alongside Tyreke Evans.

gregoden08ParticipantPossibly…But not guaranteed. Lets be honest, he’s not going over Cousins. Probably not even Favors. Obviously John Wall and Turner are pretty much sealed at the 1 and 2. Than you have big men like Monroe, Davis and plenty of forwards.
I don’t think that a top-5 pick is guaranteed.

blackflash234ParticipantOh yeah nice mock draft by the way. I love how you have New York taking 2 point guards in the 2nd round. There aren’t many good point guards in this year’s draft but I personally think that New York should take a gamble on 6’6 point guard Alexey Shved. He has all the physically tools to become a very good point guard and could be a force defensively because of his size and length. Could be a steal for the Knicks if they were to draft him. http://www.nbadraft.net/players/alexey-shved

nateoak10ParticipantHassan is easily going to be taken over Davis and Monroe, Favors is depending on the order of the lottery. And lets say a team like GSW had the 3 pick, Whiteside would be the choice cause Cousins can’t run with guys like Ellis, Curry, the Anthonies, etc

quinceyhodgesbledsoe is wayyyy to high and isnt on warrens level and hasnt shown what he can do as a pg yet as a sg who doesnt play point alot his ast to turnover ration is horrible.not sure where this soph slump thing is comming from
16ppg this year 14 last year 2reb last year 3 this year 3ast last 4 this..his fg percentage has gone done with him having to take more shots and face defenses geared at stopping him.. i think youre getting his teams play mized up with his play..everything else looks pretty good though

JNixonParticipantI know its a mock and you are supposed to be leaving personal feelings aside, so this isn’t a shot at you really. But I think that Whiteside is going to be a huge disappointment in the NBA if he declares this year. He’s got alot of physical ability, but he’s extremely weak and doesn’t have much polish offensively. He gets pushed off the block against physical post players, and falls to the floor way more than any Center.
I don’t see Bledsoe declaring, and if he does I’d be shocked if he went that high. Nor do I see Willie Warren going that low.
I don’t see Devin Ebanks over Damion James
I think Philly will take Cole Aldrich over Ed Davis. Speights would be a better fit at PF with a guy like Aldrich playing C. They compliment each other well.
You have some guys that I don’t see getting drafted in the 2nd round, but who really knows. It’s the 2nd round, there’s nothing to lose for the most part.
