Michael.S.ParticipantThe just signed Howard, Pittman, and Joel Anthony…Don’t like any of those signings really.
Hopefully they can get Barnes.

JNixonParticipantJoel Anthony should prove to be a valuable defensive presence. That’s a solid pickup for them.
Pittman needs to lose weight to be an effective NBA player. He’s weak for his mammoth size and doesn’t finish through contact or through contests very well. Both would improve if he got around 280 lbs.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantThere not the “great” signings but there the Best Miami can do. I laugh when people say ” Can T-Mac go to south beach? Is Shaq coming back to Miami? What about Barnes? Will he take the vet minimum?”
To be real, The Heat need to add someone like Kurt Thomas and maybe add someone like Jamal Tinsley.

sheltwon3ParticipantTinsley would not be good but can be had because he can’t shoot and I dont think Pat Riley would like him. T Mac could be chasing a ring so Miami could be a target but LA may make more sense or he could talk to Mike and stay in New York.

canesboy6ParticipantBarnes first, then Jason Williams, Flip Murray, Jerry Stackhouse, Jawad Williams,

sheltwon3ParticipantThose guys that were signed are front court player with expierence or promise.
Pittman could develop into a Perkins type player with pat Riley pushing him and Anthony and Howard are guys that are tough and know how to blend in and do their roles. Miami needs more length and size in the front court, shooting and maybe a backup for Lebron at small forward. Miami does not need a true point guard with Wade and Lebron on that team who can create plays. Also Mario Chalmers is solid there. They could sign Jason Williams who is a friend of Wade and has won a ring with this team before.

kicker16ParticipantI really like the idea of Kurt Thomas going to Miami. He has that hard ass mentality that you need to win late in the playoffs.

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantThey can’t really have any great signings anyway just sign solid players that don’t require touches and are big bodies that can defend the Howards and Bynums of the NBA and be able to bang around down low and get rebounds, they are not going to get any great Center or quality big man, just solid big guys that know their role. When you have Bosh, Lebron and Wade you do not really need to have any offensively gifted players, plus they already signed Miller and Haslem who will benefit greatly playing off of Miami’s Big 3, especially with little to no pressure on their shots.

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantI really hope Butler makes the team. He is the only reason I would root for the heat.

bkb77ParticipantI hope my boy ALL DA’ heals from the acl tear, cause if he goes back to the way he played at WVU then the heat just got a steal & a great player & 6th man, Da’sean is a winner,he plays D,he can shoot a lil,& he was the most clutch player in all of college basketball last year. I cant wait to see how he does in the nba.
