The 4th qaurter of this game has been really fun to watch. Bout 2 minutes left 94-96 for LA. Rubio is showing some great leadership with 5-pts, 3-rebs, and 3-assists with 0 turnovers in the 4th. Darko is such a tease…he is playing amazing defence on Griffin, and has 22-pts in the game although with 5 fouls. Hopefully he continues to play up to his potential.

this is the first time i’ve watched minnesota since the free week of league pass ended and i have to say, despite his terrible shooting percentage and mediocre numbers, i think rubio is gonna be fantastic. Not gonna say sure all-star or anything crazy, but defenitely a pg you can build a team with and feel comfortable.

I am watching Darko like a proud father watches his son the first time he brings a hot girl home. Just nod my head and smile, hoping he scores.

Rubio is special. He plays basketball you know what I mean. Makes pure basketball plays all over the court, shot was off so he got to the line. Made 6 free throws then hit his first FG in the 4th 20 seconds left to tie the game from 3. Im amazed.

7-8 for the wolves with some very competitive losses along the way. Pretty soon the love nay sayers will have to come up with something new other then team wins to discredit him.

Sorry to say but I dont even think Griffin is in the same class as Love. His talent is therebut Liove is byfar one of the best leaders in the NBa and it is just about time everyone else starts to see that as well. This guy is a winner he always has been and his team is going through the end step of a huge change/learning curve. Im calling Minnesta for a 7th or 8th seed.

Minnesota is currently 10th in the west and I think they are better then and have more short and long term potential then Houston and Utah. Both Houston and Utah currently are ahead of Minni in the standings.

The one huge difference between this year’s team and the twolves of old is we have started using a little known strategy called DEFENSE. Entering the clippers game we were ranked 11th at 92.5 points allowed a game. Last year we were dead last at 107.7. That plus the additions of Rubio and Adleman could have this team fighting for the playoffs till the very end.

We havent even had Webster or Miller for a game yet and Barea and Beasley have missed alot of time.

adelman calling that timeout with 1.5 after the billups miss.. put them in a position to win the game. A lot of coaches wouldnt have been aware enough and would have let that game go into ot.. atta boy rick you stole another one

What coach in the NBA wouldn’t use a timeout in that situation?  Let alone not be aware that he had two timeouts to use?

I think Mike D’Antoni is the closest you would get for being the coach about the timeout thing. I think he would use the timeout, but not set up a play. He would just be like here is out play "give the ball to Carmelo and let him go one on one. lol.

The thing that impressed me most about this game was Darko dunking the ball 3 times.  For anyone on herewho consistently watches the Wolves, you know that is a sight to behold.

i know a guy who played for the ucla bruins for 3 seasons and played with love as well as a number of future pros during his time there. And he has given me some info on how the guys were. ANd he says love was hands down not even close the friendliest most down to earth and smart guy he played with during those 3 seasons.

blake griffin would get similar if not more gawdy numbers if he played for minnesota… saying this takes no credit away from kevin love because hes a great player, however numerous times he’s talked negatively about his teammates and hes extremely cocky.

Wow, I watched the first half and was forced to miss the 2nd half due to a pracs study, I’m bummin now.

First off, The Clippers are gonna be a tough out. I firmly believe that if they wouldve just kept Gordon, the picks, Kamen and co, they could compete for a 4-6 seed in the west this season. With Paul I think they have a chance to go anywhere from 2-4 and they are going to be awefully tough. The only thing I see that they seem to lack right now is consistent outside shooting because Williams isnt going to give them that kind of shooting consistently, Paul is not known for his shooting, Butler is more of a slasher, Foye is inconsistent and Griffin is not there yet either. But that team is going to be a Biotch to beat in a 7 game series.

As a Wolves fan, this is no doubt the biggest win for our franchise since game 7 against Sac town with KG, Cassel, and Spreewell. The wolves needed this win more than the Clippers, because of the lack of buzz around them for the last 5 plus years, the fact that they are never on national tv and virtually unknown beyond Love and Rubio. I think they put on a good showing. Nobody is expecting us to compete at the same level as the Clippers by playoff time obviously but this does show that the Wolves are not a doormat for the NBA anymore. They have played all the big boys tough now with last second losses vs Miami, OKC, Atlanta, and a tough loss vs Chicago in game 3 of back to back to back.

I can’t say enough about what Rick Adelman means to this team. This team is so much different than last seasons team, that won 17 games and lost 25 or so by less than 5 points. This team is playing with alot of confidence and are starting to show functionability in late game situations. The Defense is much improved with essentially the same crew, the turnovers are coming down, and the overall energy and passion is consistently there.

First 3 game winning streak in a few years and what is most impressive is that they are winning after getting down early in these games.  Down by 16 to the pistons in the 1st and down to the Clips on the road, the old Wolves would have folded and lost by 20+ but Adelman, Love and Rubio have given this team a whole new attitude.  Rubio and D Williams weren’t doing anything but they have the moxie to keep their heads up because its going to happen.  I can’t wait for Barea to get healthy and have Miller and Webster get into the rotation, their depth is really going to change.

Lmao @ some of these comments. Some of y’all are going overboard.

Great shot by Love though. While I STILL don’t believe he’s a franchise player, I do think he’s getting better. Who knows? With time, maybe he can develop into a go-to/first option kind of player. I hope he does. I REALLY like his personality and just the way he carries himself.

I hope he continues to prove people wrong.
