i have  read numerous times the praising going to Josh Jackson, some people mentioned him as the best prospect in the classs. İn the contrary we have Miles Bridges who never gets love, and in my opinion  stands as the better prospect, he is built like a tank and uses his body to punish defenders, he reminds me of a lefty Stanley Johnson, who i liked very much coming out. İ just read a little something on him an article in the main page and he seems to have picked off right where i left him, dunking on people.

Miles Bridges is a great prospect, reminds me of Justise Winslow and Draymond Green, but he’s no Josh Jackson.

Miles Bridges is a great prospect but Josh Jackson has some serious game and potential.. Miles potential is a bit capped in my opinion, he’s a bit stocky and has a football frame and he uses it to dominate high school players who don’t see the weight room often, Once he gets to College he’s going to meet players with his size and speed… I see him as a three year player in College.

Josh Jackson on the other hand oozes with potential, has all the tools to be a headache on both sides of the floor.. Very long and athletic.. Will be a lockdown defender. Reminds me of Wiggins to a degree so I can see how people give him that comparison.. What separates them in my opinion is the offensive side, Wiggins is better in transition and getting out on the break, Wiggins since HS ran with such grace.. Jackson on the other hand isn’t as smooth in transition as Wiggins but he’s a more equipped Half Court scorer than Wiggins was in HS. Josh just needs to tune up his ball handling (dribbles high) and find consistency in how he scores the ball.. (settles for jumpshots)

Miles Bridges dropped 35 points on Harry Giles and CP3.  I don’t think he is Josh Jackson, but I do think he would more than hold his own against him at this stage.  I wouldn’t sleep on him.

He’s ok.  Looks like a future energy player to me unless he drastically improves his ball skills.  He’s highly productive at this level because of his physicality, motor and sheer aggression, but his actual skill needs a ton of work.  I think he’s just a decent athlete too.  Not overly quick and looks more like a 2 foot jumper to me.  He currently plays more like an undersized PF, with a weak handle and shot for a wing.  He’s not much of a passer or playmaker either.  Gets tunnel vision and forces the issue, trying to do a lot on his own.  Guys like Winslow and Stan were better than he was at the same stage, especially in terms of ball skill.  Both of those guys played the point for their HS team (in Winslow’s case he also played point for his stacked AAU team as well.)  There’s no way Bridges has the ball skill or temperament to do that.  He’s much more of a linear, catch and attack type player.

I agree with Gbee 100 percent, he’s a late round first pick at best after 3-4 years in college.. Miles will be a very good college basketball player. He’s a tweener at the NBA level.. Hes to small to guard Bigs not quick enough on his feet to guard SFs or guards. Hes a great fit at Michigan State with Izzo.

İ do think he can guard 3s, specially in college, who do you think he will be facing? From what İve seen the guy goes hard on defense and makes it a part of his arsenal. İ am assuming if he goes to İzzo he will be a nightmare on defense, specially if his wingspan increased a bit more.

I’m talking about SFs on the NBA level.. He wont have a problem defending in college.. NBA will be a lot different, he’ll have problems in the NBA defending to a degree due to the fact he’s not extremely long and has some clunky lateral speed.

i might have gone a bit over board by saying he stands as a better prospect than Jackson and gbee and robc are right in their argument, Bridges does  lack a ball skill, however i think hes not  talked about as much as he deserves… Bridges has a great stroke from deep and once he is inside he can score on anyone.  İ will eat my words and say that Jackson is the better prospect, but Bridges is not far behind. His body will have to develop correctly for him to move on as a superior athlete.

Miles commited to Michigan State, I thought he would be a great fit here.. If Jackson goes to Maryland we could see the Jackson vs Bridges rivalry happen soon
