Just read a funny article about Michael Beasley selling some of his stuff from his Minnesota home before he movies to Phoenix.  I thought it was pretty interesting.  According to the article Beasley has a Physicians’ Desk Reference, a book of Ingram Bergman screenplays, whoever the heck that is, giant glass grapes, a floral headboard, tasseled pillows, handbags and animal-themed salt and pepper shakers.  I think we probably all know by now that Michael Beasley is, you know……..different.

I love Beasley he gets so much criticism for all the wrong reasons. He’s a hard worker who came into the league as a kid but still helped Miami to the playoffs while leading the team in rebounds and being 2nd to 2)Wade in scoring. I can’t wait to see him explode in Phoenix this year. He was never a bust and is still developing last year was just a bad situation.

But this got me interested to see what thpe of yard salw Javelle McGee could throw…

You don’t see too many hard workers in the NBA with his scoring ability that are already on their 3rd team by their 5th year. Guy was the 2nd pick in draft and given away for a 2nd rounder. Not saying he’s not any good, just saying teams have had no issue with wanting to trade or let him go.

Miami basically traded him for Lebron James and a 2nd rounder and Minny drafted Derrick Williams 2nd so decided to give him room to develop and save money in the process. it had nothing to.do with talent or.work.ethic it was all about fit.

So we’re just not going to talk about the fact that Minnesota didn’t even try to resign Beasely in the offseason and just let this talented (but troubled) player go for nothing in return? You say they were trying to save money and give Williams space to grow as their pick for the future… But rumors are swirling about a deal to trade him and Ridnour for Varajao. Beasely may be talented but there’s a reason why he bounces around and stars like Wade and Love (most notably) don’t want to play with him for one reason or another.

I believe Beasley was a better fit in Minny basketball-wise in comparison to Williams as a SF. But I guess money had something to do with it.

I think there was chemistry due to B-easy and Love were top players of the same class they had played with or against each other from when they were young, I thought they were friends and I’ve never heard/read Love say anything bad him. I’d be interested to read it if you had a link to anything like that.

Maybe I just wanted to see them do this in a game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dGLwJaayL0

Very useful, not to mention interesting. A much more useful approach I hadn’t thought about it exactly like that before but can see that it would be helpful.locksmith leeds

Damn,Beasley is into Bergman??? I guess I had him pegged wrong all along…For those who dont know he was a Swedish filmmaker whos movies dealt with death and existentialism…Check out “Persona”,one of the greatest films ever made

Are we gonna act like it was possible for Miami to keep Beasley and still sign James and Bosh or are we gonnna start acting like.David Khan does.things that make sense?…And letting Beasley walk freed up cap room to allow them to offer Nic Batum a contract which was a gamble that backfired

Beasley is an absolute G for knowing about Ingmar Bergman, a guy who stopped making films (and died) before he even turned pro.

I dont get why Beasley gets so much hate. When given the chance he’s always preformed well. I think he will be a 20ppg scorer next season.
