SteroidParticipantWhat happens to this guy now? Michael Beasley is the main player that can be used in a S&T deal with LeBron. With that being said, Riley stated that he wouldn’t trade Beasley or Chalmers. I’ll post the interview if I can find the link again. Also, Bosh and Wade stated that they’re willing to take less money to “win”, or in other words, get LeBron James in my opinion because at this point, they don’t have to take less money necessarily unless LeBron joins them.. Personally, I think Michael Beasley should be kept because he could be the Heat’s Rajon Rondo in the sense that Rondo was considered the weak link then within a couple of years, he became an all star, granted Beasley came into the league with more hype, and Wade and Bosh should actually take less money like they should they would possibly do if they can get LeBron. Even if the heat don’t get LeBron, they could play Beasley at the SF position or he could make a valuable 6th man. Well what do you guys think?

ScareCrowsRevengeParticipantout of position and out of Favor in Miami…With Bosh there …Beasley’s gone IMHO…
He can and should be traded to a team that has a few young and Cheap pieces so Mia can fill out the roster whether or not they sign Lebron or Not…To Be Honest with David Lee and Carlos Boozer still unsigned I’d be suprised if Beasley wasn’t traded to the Jazz or Knicks and 3rd team in a S and T for Lee…Lee would end up in Miami and Beasley ends up on 3rd team with a Point guard and C to give away…I can that Team Being The Grizzles…Beasley is a cheap replacement for Zac who could be traded at the deadline to a Contender looking for a 20/10 guy in the post season….The Trade would probably start off looking like this…
Micheal Beasley for Mike Conley, Sam Young and Darrel Arthur…The Heat add depth and possible Point Guard and the Grizzles get Beasley and shorten their rotation
Grizzles post Beasley Trade…
Starters-
Mayo, Gay ,Beasley, Zac Randolph (until deadline when he can be traded for assets) and Baby Gasol
Bench-
Henry, Thabeet, Vasquez and Brewer( or did he sign somewhere else???) I may be missing a player or two but they should tough and talented to me…0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/07/2010 - 8:28am #348185
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantHow was Beas out of position? He’s always been a Power Forward.

NarcParticipantBeasley is an undersized 4, but can play 3. He’s listed at 6’10 but remember when this site did his measurements? He was about 6’8.5 correct me if I’m wrong. I think he can play 3 with the right line up.

esperanzafleet69Participantbeasley plays out of position when he plays the 4… hes a below average rebounder.. cant defend a 4, and cant overpower other 4’s in the post…
hes a SF and a SF till he dies.. miami needs to keep him and have a lineup of
chalmers
wade
beasley
bosh
joel anthony…other players..

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe’s better suited for the three, but he doesn’t move his feet quick enough to defend on the perimeter.

SteroidParticipantYeah, Beasley is a below average defender, so that is why I say he could come off the bench as a scorer when Bosh or/and Wade are having off nights. Kinda like a JR Smith type role off the bench.

it would only be done if they can get LBJ to agree.
It would give OKC another long combo forward to play or spell KD and Green.
How sick would a Westbrook, Harden, Durant, Green, and Beasley team look against A fast tempo like Pheonix!
