Flameres15ParticipantThe Heat are working on a deal to keep Wade and Haslem. They are "finalizing" a 5year/118 million deal with Bosh. The Heat are reported to be in ‘Hot’ pursuit for Luol Deng. So if these are all true and do pan out, what is their next move?
They will be joining Granger, Josh McRoberts, Norris Cole, and Shabazz Napier on the post-LeBron Heat.
My prediction:
The Heat make a strong push for Eric Bledsoe
Re-sign Michael Beasley and Greg Oden.

Flameres15ParticipantThey should also sign James Ennis and fill out the roster with intelligent veterans like Marvin Williams, Chris Andersen, and maybe Ray Allen. This team could be very competitive in the East, the question is how good would they be?

ChoppyParticipantDo you think Miami drafts Napier if they knew LeBron was leaving? LeBron lobbied hard for Miami to draft him – they drafted him and now he leaves. Would that have altered their draft strategy knowing LeBron was leaving?

Flameres15ParticipantMaybe, but LeBron’s decision would have altered their free agency plan also. They could have drafted a talented player like Kyle Anderson, who does fill a need as a ball handling point forward, but ultimately the Heat aren’t into player development. Napier had just won a championship (his second in college). He is a winner, and a talented one at that. I don’t think the heat do anything differently in the draft, but rather are more aggressive in top-tier free agents.

JordoParticipantI see no reason for them to bring back Beasley or Oden. Neither one gave them much of anything last year.

Flameres15ParticipantBeasley had his moments. He is a talented player, and can try to fill a hole left by LeBron. Also, Beasley projects to be a cheap pick up, so while they go after big name free agents, they can fill the bench with cheap shooters.

omphalosParticipantYou know what woukd be awesome (but obviously completely unlikely)? Oden and Beasley come back, both of them flip the switch and hit their potential and the Heat compete again.
I’d love to see Beasley and Oden redeem the Heat. Two very high upside guys when healtht and motivated.

benny15ParticipantI agree with the op that it would be good for Miami to go after Bledsoe now, just don’t know if pat Riley is willing to give a favorable contract to him given that his agent was lobbying and succeeded in bringing LeBron back to Cleveland.
Another "big" named free agent they should consider is lance Stephenson. Have him split ball handling duties with wade and even be the starting sg on games that wade would rest to preserve himself in the play offs. Also wouldn’t mind them taking a chance on Evan turner if coach spo continues on wanting to implement a point forward system.
