    Chris Bosh to Houston.

Luis Scola, Brad Miller/Jordan Hill, and Courtney Lee to Miami.

PG – Mike Bibby, Mario Chalmers
SG – Dwayne Wade, Courtney Lee
SF – LeBron James, Mike Miller
PF – Luis Scola, Udonis Haslem
C – Erick Dampier, Brad Miller/Jordan Hill, and Eddy Curry?

Just a  thought since Hoopshype reported Miami has discussed the idea of trading Bosh.
Ric Bucher as the Source I think.

(I did discuss this on Twitter with Rudyboy & BKKnicksfan; just saying so they get credit)

"Heat could use his toughness.." (Rudeboy) referring to Scola. Scola has an array of moves in the post and can hit an outside shot as well. His defense is sometimes questionable, but he’ll hustle no matter what.

The Lee part of my trade was from BKKnicksfan. Lee gives them a spark off the bench with all the little things you need to win (mainly defense) and he’s a great 3 point shooter (shooting 40+% for Houston this year). He’s also very athletic.

Bosh could come to Houston or wherever he’s traded with a chip on his shoulder. However, like Rudeboy said; trading Bosh would make Miami look like they made a mistake.

What a worthless trade for miami…they basically add 2 bench players who will give them 14-16 decent minutes a game and swap bosh for scola…

Scola averaged 18 PPG, 8 RPG, and 2 APG in 32 MPG
Bosh averaged 18 PPG, 8 RPG, and 1 APG in 36 MPG

Everything else is about the same as far as TO’s, Steals, but Scola has the edge in FG% and Bosh has it in FT%

How is that Worthless? Scola too was the 2nd or 3rd Option when on the floor and he’s a lot cheaper than Bosh even if he’s older. He hustles more than Bosh and tries more on Defense than Bosh.

Miller gives them experience with great passing and shooting. A sub-par defender, but he’s better than Joel Anthony and better offensively than Dampier. He can shoot the three at a respectable percentage too.

Courtney Lee is a Great Shooter which is what Miami needs since their so called shooters aren’t doing so well.
& he’s a great defender with Finals Experience against the Lakers and Kobe.

If Miller isn’t included Jordan Hill is another big body they can use to big or the Rockets could even throw in Terrence Williams or Chase Budinger..

You are really giving Brad Miller and Courtney Lee no respect as players.

The only thing Joel Anthony can do is play defence and is WWWAAAYYY better than Miller.  That was straight disrespectful.

"Scola averaged 18 PPG, 8 RPG, and 2 APG in 32 MPG
Bosh averaged 18 PPG, 8 RPG, and 1 APG in 36 MPG"

Except that Bosh plays behind Dwyane Wade and LeBron James while Scola plays next to (not behind) Kevin Martin.  Big difference there.

As a Rockets fan, I’d love it, but it’s completely highway robbery.  Bosh is a franchise player and you’re trading him for two old players  / big contracts, and a career reserve?  Not likely.

Comparing Bosh and Scola, Bosh is younger, fits better with this Miami team(better jump shooter, faster). Both are below average defenders. Overall, Bosh the better player for the Heat.

I was a big fan of Brad Miller in his prime, but he can’t give the Heat what they need most at C, which is defense and rebounding. Courtney Lee is a good player, good 3p shooter, but one you can get without trading a main piece of your team.

So not a good trade for the Heat.

Miami should try to upgrade at PG rather than C, Bibby is a nonfactor on defense and Chalmers can’t hit a shot on offense, that’s their biggest problem. As people like to say, this is the age of the PG, they’ll matchup against Rondo and Rose in the playoffs for many years to come(maybe westbrook in the finals in a year or two?), they need someone there.

I noticed almost any Heat trade or free agency post all most always garners so many negatives…

Rockets should avoid a sissy like Bosh.  Scola is much tougher than Bosh and has a more reasonable contract (although Scola is older, given his playing style, he can probably play at a decently high level through out his contract).

Scola is a great 3rd option and very good post player.  If the Rockets can get a defensive mind 7-footer to play C, Scola is an ideal fit.  Hayes plays good D, but he’s too short.

Bosh would not help the Rockets more than Scola and he is too big of a name to play behind anyone on the current Rockets.  Say NO to RuPaul of big man!

As a Raptors fan, Bosh is definitely NOT a franchise player.  The guy is a great 2nd / 3rd fiddle.  He can’t be the man, your team won’t even make it through the 1st round if he’s your #1 player.  His contract is too big for what he can contribute, and with that big contract, it’s hard to further improve your roster.

Scola is a good 3rd fiddle and he’s team player, a winner.  He doesn’t care about his personal stats as long as his team wins.  That’s why he’s a much better fit for the Rockets than Bosh.  The current Rockets do not have a good enough REAL franchise player to push Bosh to be 2nd option.  Unless Yao Ming can play at his super star level, it’s not a good idea to get Bosh.

First off, Bosh is a little girl.  Now that I got that out of the way.

Bosh does not fit well on Miami, who lacks grit under the net. Scola in my opinion is one of the most under rated big men in the game. He reminds me of a not so poor mans version of Paul Gasol (Obvvii Pau still the better player, but not by much). Bosh has little to no defence, and is a scoring big man. Does Miami really need a scoring big man when Lebron/Wade give them 60 points a night? I don’t think so..

Scola would bring the Heat some toughness and grit, and sure Bosh is the "bigger name" player, but from a team concept I think Scola is a MUCH better fit. Brad Miller is old but still decent for 10 minutes a game off the bench to provide even more toughness, that Scola already brings. As well Courtney Lee is a quick guy, and I think would play well in transition for Miami off the bench.

Just to add some more to my post… Scola plays great position defense, he switches well off the pick and roll, and has a knack for grabbing rebounds. On offense he sets solid picks, scores well around the basket, can knock down free throws, and never plays outside his game (I.E- Forcing jumpers – something Bosh sometimes does, or trying to force the issue when taking the ball to the rim)

i like how this trade would make miami deeper but not better…keeping bosh is the best thing for them to do.

Keeping Bosh is the best thing Miami could do?

Are you joking, there’s no team in their right mind to gut a team for a no good defender and too soft PF in Bosh.

Miami should have rolled the Dice last year and got Stoudmire who is a hard-nosed defender.

Don’t think that the Rockets are willing to give up Lee in this trade.
