    According to the SunSentinel The Miami Heat are in contract talks with the Agent of forward De’Saun Butler who was taken with the 42nd pick in this summer’s draft..

    Really hope they sign him, that was truly devastating when went down against Duke. He’s definitely an NBA player if he gets back to full strength.

    I’d like to see though if he can be an effective enough defender and outside shooter since he will be an afterthought on offense now instead of when he was the focal point in college.

    Butler deserves to make this team.. He proved that he is a player.. Before the injury, he was a first round lock and the Eers could have been headed to the championship game.. Ya never know…

    He’s one of those guys I’ll be rooting for. Good kid, just got a bad injury at a bad time, I’m glad he’s getting an opportunity and I think he’ll make the most of it.
