BlueRivers25ParticipantToo bad Duke isnt scheduled to play Indiana this season. Hopefully they meet in the NCAAs. But I think Mason could hold his own against Cody Zeller. Mason played very well last season against Thomas Robinson, Sullinger and Tyler Zeller.
Mason is going to be the ACC POY and 1st Team All American. You guys heard it here first.
Next up for Duke is UK. Its going to be fun watching Mason go up against Noel.

Mr. 19134ParticipantCJ Leslie is going to be the ACC’s best big man you heard it hear first!
Seriously NC State could run away with the ACC they have the ACC freshman of the year in Rodney Purvis, and atleast 2 All ACC first teamers in Lorenzo Brown and CJ Leslie.
I would have to say McAdoo is the favorite to win ACC POY right now tho.

BlueRivers25ParticipantMason is holding his own!!!! he is still somewhat mechanical in the post, with not legit go to move. But his size, athleticism, and being a Senior helps him a lot. Also with the improve play of Quinn Cook getting him the ball in a position to score easy is nice to have for a big man.
His FT has improved a lot, I expected to drop and average out as the season goes on, but if he hovers around 70% that would still be a huge increase from is career average.
Mason’s biggest attribute to the team is not getting into foul trouble early, and if he does, he is smart enough not to pick up cheap fouls.0 - AuthorPosts
