IndianaBasketballParticipantMarquis is a great player. He’s definitely better than Jeff was at the same age… Mainly because of his body. Jeff was skinny up until he went to Wake Forest, while Marquis is built like a tank already and is just as quick and athletic as his brother.

IndianaBasketballParticipantOhio State doesn’t have a high chance. Neither does Indiana with the way things are looking right now. I’d say Kentucky or Louisville.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThey wish lol! They’re recruiting him though. Very hard too. I don’t think he’s interested in going to college less than 5 miles away from where he’s lived his whole life.

knicksfan7ParticipantI can only imagine how good the future recruits at Butler are going to be. This run by Butler I don’t see being a fluke, at all. I can totally see Butler winning it all be it next year or within the next 5 years.

IndianaBasketballParticipantIt’ll be interesting to see exactly how this title run helps their recruiting. It’ll definitely make their recruiting pitch even stonger.
I think Butler is a team a lot of recruits will want to play for. They have an amazing coaching staff, great tradition, play hard and win. Not to mention, you’ll get an amazing education at Butler. The only negative about Butler is their campus. It’s really small and… NOT exciting lol. They don’t have a state of the art recreation center or just anything fun to do.

knicksfan7ParticipantYeah that’s the biggest negative for private schools is a small campus. Though at Butler are there bars/clubs near the campus for players to go to if they wish?? Are there a lot of girls that go there b/c recruits won’t go to a school that has more guys than girls, lol.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe girls at Butler are OK. The girls are more smart than cute lol.
There are quite a few bars and clubs, but most are 21 and over. Dowtown is only ten minutes down the road and our downtown is great. There’s also a local area called Broad Ripple that’s about five minutes from Butler. There’s a bunch of bars and clubs in that area, and it’s jumping like every weekend.

knicksfan7ParticipantI am sure that the players won’t have to worry then if there is stuff to do outside of campus and not too far from campus. I am sure there are nearby colleges that have plenty of girls as well, so they’ll meet others as well. I think the difference between Butler and George Mason is that Butler is going to be good for a long time and start pulling in top 100 recruits year in and year out. I think they will surpass Gonzaga in 2 years, if they haven’t already.
