I believe Markelle Fultz might be the best prospect in the 2017 NBA draft. I know most would argue Josh Jackson, Jayson Tatum, Harry Giles, or even Lonzo Ball. I like the rise and his steady improvement in his game, he get’s better after every event he have played in, from last summer to yesterdays Jordan Brand Classic. He reminds me of an more athletic D’Angelo Russell and Bradon Roy, sprinkle in a little Russell Westbrook.

Let me argue my point in he might end up being the best player in this draft, even if he might not be the number one overall pick. This is a point guard driven league and you need elite point guards to win games in todays game. Also, he possesses elite physical tools (6’5", 185IBS, and a 6’9" wingspan) and very good athleticism. He can do it all on the offensive end of the court. He needs to improve his shooting.

    2017 NBA Draft PG rankings:

    1. Markelle Fultz
    2. Frank Ntilikina
    3. De’Aaron Fox
    4. Lonzo Ball
    5. Dennis Smith
    6. Malik Monk

That 2017 pg class is sick! Hopefully all of them live up to expectations. I think Ferguson, Simmons, Frank Jackson could all be good point guards/combo guards in the future. It seems to me like every team is gonna have at least one great point in a couple of years, the league is absolutely stacked at that position.

I don’t see Ferguson as being a PG, he don’t have the handle or he don’t have the playmaking ability, he’s a wing. To me I fell like im getting a Jarryd Bayless vibe off of Frank Jackson, not saying he will have the same career path, but I don’t see the hype at the PG position. I don’t see the handle or the playmaking potential in him after watching him player numberous times.

I like Fultz. I think Lonzo is better, he will show his full game at UCLA.. Then if Dennis is healthy I got him second. Im not a big Fox fan though. Gotta see how Cal uses him

I have to see way more of Lonzo Ball to crown him the best. Can he fix his release on his jumper, can he defend, how he fair w/o the offense that he ran in high school/AAU? To many questions for me. I don’t have that w/ Fultz. Fultz can score in all 3 levels, can really pass the ball, good athlete, keeps getting better, and one of the youngest players in the class. I like his, Josh Jackson, and Jonathan Isaac potential more than any other player in this class.

Can’t see that happening right there. I believe they can be a top 4 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Well, that could have been said last year, when they had Andrews, Chriss and Murray and years ago when they had Williams-Goss and Cj Wilcox. Was always underachievs.

None have the talent that Fultz possesses. They have a young team that’s bound to improve.

He has nice size for a combo guard and will be one of the younger guys in his draft if he declares next year so his potential looks as good as anyone in that draft. I haven’t seen that much of him playing yet so I cannot really pass judgement on him yet but I’m looking forward to seeing him in the NCAA next season.
