Caught a bunch of Mario Henzonja highlights on youtube, and im pretty impressed with what I saw. Anyone here that has some info on him and how he’s doing over in Europe? Also how would he fare in the nba game and who would you compare him to? Thanks guys!

He has good size at 6 7 . Definitely not afraid of taking many shots even if he is not playing good (like Kobe for example , i’m not saying he will be as good as him and not say he has Kobe-like potential , but he is very dominant at his age in Europe). Pretty cocky. Great scorer ,pretty athletic can finish great around the rim. Good shooter and rebounder, one game against a weaker team in Spain he had 11 rebounds in 20 something minutes. His court vision could get better , and he is a little bit selfish. All around he has massive potential .
Unfortuantely he still isn’t getting a lot of minutes but he is very young as you probably know. He uses his playing time well , certainly showing he can become an NBA player if he develops good.
If he reaches his full potential he can become a (very) poor man’s Kobe. I am maybe exaggerating but I’m frrom Croatia , so please understand me .

He isn’t logging enough minutes to get the attention of the average basketball lover but he can and will ball when he gets the opportunity to; hopefully that is soon. I love my Croatian players, but a poor man’s Kobe is selling him too high. He’s got a slim chance to be a future All-Star but he could be a good offensive player in time. Is floor is an end of the bench / Starter for a high end euro team. I really like his game though; hoping the suns pick up either him or Šarić.

I like Šarić better, I think they both would be a good fit for them, but honestly I’d say Hezonja. They already have Bledsoe and Dragić to run the offense and I’m not sold on Archie Goodwin as a future 3rd guard and I think Hezonja could be a great one in time.
