Perhaps I am crazy. I know there has been an ongoing debate (along with Wiggins, Parker, etc.) about who to compare him to. As I was watching the Pacers game tonight and couldn’t help but see a lot of Lance Stephenson in his game. I don’t think I have read that comparison yet. He isn’t as dynamic with the ball as Stephenson, but both are brute force slashers, similar builds and have similar approaches to the game.
Am I crazy for this comparison?

Its a reasonable comparison, but Smart has a higher upside and IMO will be a better defender.

Not crazy. I’ve seen Stephenson in person and he is really tall for a PG. Marcus is only 6′ 2" in bare feet. Probably 3 inches shorter than Lance.
