TC_42ParticipantI just saw that Marcus Smart committed to Oklahoma State. ESPN has him ranked as the #2 shooting guard recruit in the nation. I’ve actually never heard anything about him… can anyone fill me in?

mikeyvthedonParticipantVery versatile, he is a flat out winner. His team not only won the state championship, but he lead his AAU team to a couple straight titles, including this years Adidas Super 64 over Dream Vision. Oklahoma State also landed his HS and AAU teammate Phil Forte, who is a big time shooter and scorer.
Marcus is also incredibly versatile, I think he could guard and play 1-3 in college. He is probably more suited for the wing, as he is a big time rebounder and can attack the basket with big time athleticism. Sort of an inconsistent shooter, though definitely can stroke it from deep when given the opportunity. This guy just never seems to get outworked and is a flat out winner. He more than likely will be their for a little while, as some view him as undersized, but he will make an immediate impact and is a MAJOR grab by Oklahoma State. Really big fan of this kid.
