Great Trade for both side. Shows that the Magic are serious about trying to win it again next year, and they know Hedo is not coming back so Carter is prob a better replacement. Rafer Alston and Battie have expiring contract, and Lee could be something special and a cornerstone for the Nets.

this is really advanced, they say it’s 80% complete. As a net fan it sucks because if the best carter can fetch us is courtney lee (who i like) and not even a pick in this weak draft…. too many free cap in 2010 and too few players

Yeah you are right. I’ve read Harris is on the move too. A possible 3 team trade that would land the Nets the rights to Rubio.

This draft will be interesting. The draft class might suck, but the draft isn’t.

I love this trade for ORL…it showed in the finals that not having a guy who could get his own shot hurt them badly, VC is that guy!!!

Now Pietrus can start and guard the other teams best player, and Carter can be the offensive force on the perimeter!!!

He is the sidekick Dwight needs, and this is definately gonna overshadow Cleveland’s trade for Shaq!!!

Lee has game but carter brings them another allstar caliber player

I think this puts them ahead of both Boston and Cleveland in the east, but they need to resign Hedo as well. Also, don’t sleep on what Ryan Andersen can do. He is a great shooting pf who should be able to excel around Dwight.

In all seriousness, I think it’s a good trade for both sides… Lee’s obviously a good young player, and the only bad thing VC brings is how the Magic players will be able to get their own shots, especially if Hedo is re-signed.
