OhCanada-ParticipantI personally think Barnes will go 1st overall if Cleveland, Minni, Sacramento, or Washington have that pick. I highl doubt MJ will pick a soft 7 footer ever. G-State picked Udoh a similar player to Henson last year, and would probally go with Jones or Leonard. I doubt Thompson, Hamilton and Harris enter the draft.
Those are just opinions thou and I think its a very solid draft.

M-DYMESParticipantYea i agree with you on the Barnes concept OhCanada. Personally I think that is the best move to make, especially considering how he has played lately. I also think Baron still has something left in the tank, and if not him, Sessions has looked like he could take over the starting spot short term. I think people are buying into Kyrie wayy to much. I like him and think he will be a starter, but the comparisons to CP3 and elite PGs, i just dont think he ends up being that type of PG.

The lake show2I like it but a couple of things
OKC has a very nice back up already in Eric Maynor
And i think the Twolves would be better to pick Markieff Morris

thunderbear82ParticipantGreat mock bro!! You have good understanding of team needs.

M-DYMESParticipantJust a thought in review here…
Anyone think Scotty Hobson should still be going in the 1st rd? If so, where do u think he goes?

SwatLakeCityParticipantI don’t even think Scotty Hopson will enter the draft. Tennesee is a mess right now and he might want to stay another year to play better. But if he did enter, he would probably go second round.
You have a very good mock draft but there are a few things I see:
- First, I think either Barnes or Henson will stay. Both will not leave. I actually am starting to think that Barnes will be the only one that comes to the NBA from North Carolina.
- I also think that Thompson and Hamilton will stay. Harris might, depends on how he feels about the season he had. He was one of the few players that actually played quite well so I tend to think he will go even though the Vols want him to stay.
- Don’t think Kawhi Leonard will drop that far. Jazz might pick him up at 12. AK might sign elsewhere next year because Utah probably will not have enough money to resign especially with the salary expected to be lowered significantly. Although Knight is not a bad pick either for the Jazz.
- I don’t think MJ would draft Montie either because he is soft and thats one thing that MJ hates. Montie could go to Pheonix who desperately need a PF after losing Amare. And if he fills his potential and becomes what scouts think he could be he could definitely replace Amare.
Very good mock. One of the best I’ve seen so far, just fix those few things.

burningfloodParticipantWhy would GS want another PF, especially another potential laden skinny kid from UNC? We already have Ekpe Udoh and David Lee at the PF, so I highly doubt that we’d covet Henson, especially considering we traded away Brandan Wright and passed on Ed Davis last year.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantNicely done.
I think you have Thompson and Hamilton from Texas going too late but they’re coming back anyway.
Shelvin Mack in the 1st round?

M-DYMESParticipantI made some brief changes for now…
T-Jones headed to GSW
Leonard headed to PHX
Henson to NYK
And i agree that some of these guys might not come out….i’ll update later when I hear more finality on those issues as everyone says they are staying during the tourney. You’re not gonna say ur leaving with more games still left to play.
As for Shelvin Mack, I’m hearing he very well might rise up into RD 1 with the way hes been shooting, in a draft that lacks guards. I think he would be a great fit with Chicago even if it means taking him earlier than some anticipate.

jerb2011ParticipantNO!!!!! Eric Maynor and Nate Robinson are behind Westbrook. Thunder need a low-post scorer like Trey Thompkins

M-DYMESParticipantPersonally, I see Robinson or Maynor (possibly a wing as well from OKC) being moved at some point for an already proven PF/C. They are ready to compete now IMO and the PFs left in the draft are more developmental IMO.
