Great question. i thnk they will both be great. Its easier for me to say Babbitt because im also from the Reno area and know him but i think they will both be very solid. I would say Babbitt because he has such a great stroke with unlimmitted range and he can post, shoot, board and he sees the floor very well for a player his size. He is also left handed which is a little tougher to guard in my opinion. But Hayward is a proven winner and great ball handler and has great upside. interesting question

I was watching both their youtube highlights, and Luke Babbitt seems a bit more explosive has a little more lift. But Gordon Hayward looks like a better player, and could probably even play some “Point Forward”. But im still not sure who is better.

Comparing Babbitt and Hayward is like comparing apples and oranges. But in whole, Babbitt is just more developed at this point. He’ll take you on the block and fill you out for an easy jump-hook, or use his Dirk-like release to hurt your team from distance.

This past NCAAM season it looked like Hayward was going through the ‘puberty-stage’, where as he’s asking himself “am I suppose to be here?”.

Im pretty sure he wasnt asking himself if he shouldve been there while carrying his team to the championchip game.Durant was skinnier and weaker than Hayward and look what hes doing

Babbit we’ll be better at first but Gordon Hayward we’ll have the better career. The greatest weapon in the nba is the mid-range game, which is Gordon greatest aspect. Babbit we’ll get more time at first but then he just going to turn out to go over sea’s or the D-League. Gordon will be in the Nba for a long time I could see him being a sixth man then turing into a Starter.

    Best Team To Go To:
    Babbit:Celtics
    Hayward:Bucks/Spurs

I think Hayward will be picked higher, but Babbitt is more NBA ready. He’s a tweener and I have no idea who he’ll be able to defend, but he should be able to score in the NBA right away. He’s that good of an offensive player. He’s more aggressive offensively than Hayward. He’s a better shooter too. He’s just more polished offensively than Hayward is.

I think Hayward has more upside (he’s sort of a late bloomer). He’s more versatile, athletic and has better lateral foot speed. Hayward will struggle defending three’s, but not nearly as much as Babbitt. I think Hayward will be a legit NBA small forward.
