I don’t know how the Wolves have kept it together so far but it looks like Love is going to be out 4-6 weeks after breaking his hand again. The Wolves have to be the team with the most games missed by players. Buddinger, Love, Rubio, Lee, Howard have all missed significant time this year and they are 1 game over .500 at this point. At least D Williams has been getting some time lately and I’m really hoping that he can step up. This will probably increase the chances of another free agent signing and I’m guessing a trade or two before the trade deadline.

Is it his same hand? If it is I wonder if he returned too soon. I guess the basketball gods aren’t feeling the “love”.

This has to be one of the most single-“hand”edly frustrating seasons for the Wolves so far.

The Timberwolves are certainly not having much luck these last two years with injuries. Losing Love while Brandon Roy is already out and Ricky Rubio isn’t fully healthy yet.

The timberwolves really have their “hand” full now; hopefully Rubio can give them a helping “hand” on offense.

In all seriousness, this is really unfortunate, but if Rubio can play consistent minutes in this period, he could really boost Derrick Williams’ value with the team; the two of them have always had good chemistry and Williams plays best with Rubio there to help create shots.

I’m a little bit surprised by how low Love’s shooting percentages were last season, considering all the fuss that was made about a PF shooting 44% from the field.
