3 No Biases 3ParticipantI can’t remember anticipating a lottery as much as this one. I would be ecstatic with any of the top 5 picks (Embiid, Wiggins, Randle, Parker, Exum). The next 3 I think could be a great as well (Smart, Vonleh, Gordon).
I would almost be scared to have the first pick this year because I would hate to pass one of these guys up. If I was picking I’d still pick Wiggins #1, he just has too much potential on both ends of the floor to pass up. After that I like Parker unless I need a center…
I also really hope the Pelicans get lucky and get in the top 5 so they can help Davis out, either way it would be cool for the Sixers to have two great picks as well. They would be fun to watch if they make good picks and have 4 lottery players in two years.
Anyone else anticipating this as much as me? I follow the Celtics so I hope they get a chance at Embiid or Wiggins. The others would be nice but I think these two would fit better with Rondo..

TyroberParticipantI really like what the Sixers are doing, but would love for the Pelicans to get lucky and grab a top 3 pick to go alongside Davis. I think the Lakers try to trade the pick regardless of where it is for Kevin Love. The Celtics have the assets to get Love as well. I really hope the Jazz get a chance to grab Parker too. Tonight can shape for future for many years for quite a few teams.

Lawrence112ParticipantI don’t think you can really go wrong with either of the top 3 prospects this year. Think they will all be studs in time.

druneave3ParticipantI wish we could end the – lottery is rigged – conspiracy theories but tonight will probably start the Adam Silver era of the crackpot theories.

3 No Biases 3ParticipantIf Lakers or, to a slightly lesser extent, the Celtics win the lottery all hell will break loose…

mike_r232ParticipantI really want the Celtics to get into the top 3, but it would be exciting if any of these teams win it:
– Sixers: Lineup including MCW, Noel, Embiid/Parker/Wiggins, and McDermott/Stauskas/Young (with the Pelicans pick) would be amazing
– Lakers: Could put together a couple more runs with a top 3 pick and Kobe, Nash, and a resigned Pau
– Pelicans: Any of the top 3 guys fill major needs for the Pelicans and would make them very dangerous. Imagine finally upgrading Aminu to the likes of Parker/Wiggins?
– Cavs: It would be insane for them to win again, but pairing one of those guys with Irving would be great. In theory anyways… until the Cavs do something stupid
It’s tough to avoid the conspiracies. If the Bucks win, people will say it is because they were just sold. If the Lakers win, it’s because the NBA wants their major market to have a star and also want Kobe in the playoffs. If the Celtics win, same thing. All that being said, I’m really looking forward to it!

butidonthavemoney"I would almost be scared to have the first pick this year because I would hate to pass one of these guys up."
If I’m a GM of a lottery franchise, I’m hoping to get the third pick. That way I could just draft the remainder of Wiggins/Parker/Embiid without the crippling pressure, and subsequent responsibility, of selecting the "right" one. I bet my father’s mustache that at least one of the three lottery winners this year will see their GM get fired over this draft specifically.

Memphis MadnessParticipant^^^
yeah I would want the third pick too. Almost like having the 2nd pick in the Oden/Durant draft.
even better if you are at 3 with either Wiggins or Embiid on board. Almost a no-brainer at that point.
