Lottery Day Disappointment
I think that clippers is going to throw a fit when he says this hahahah. I agree I wish OKC had it, because then they would be so dangerous in the future.
Still gonna be really good. Durant is already (20yrs old) one of the elite players/scorers in the league. He can still get so much better. Green is a fantastic player who can do so much for them offensively. Westbrook is fast becoming a very good player
w/e we got him, so who cares what u guys think about it. we deserved it most so watever.
I am upset unless the clippers trade him for rubio and some vets and then trade Baron. It would give the NBA player movement. I will say this most of the Clippers draft picks are gone so after 4 year he will probably leave. I just hope he does not pick up any bad habits.
it forces the clippers to do something about their team now they've been handed a lifeline to revive their franchise...
but in order for griffin to be the beast he can be the clippers need to FIRE MIKE DUNLEAVY.... and hire a better coach.
actually, dunleavy's offense is centered around the pf, therefore pf's thrive in his offense. last year, the clips had a crap pf in randolph so their offense sucked. this year with griffin it will be different.
I'm interested to see what they do with their roster. They loaded up on high priced veterans like Davis, Camby, and Randolph recently, and they were not able to get it done. They would be wise to go young and build around Griffin, Gordon, and Thorton. But what can they do to unload those big contracts without bringing back equally bad contracts is the question. Interesting dillemma brewing there for sure.
edit: I just noticed I got 1 point. What does that mean?
If one thing in the NBA is rigged it's got to be the lottery. I think they want two successful teams in LA because it's a bigger market. Maybe the Balls just bounced their way. We'll prolly never no.

Was anybody else really disappointed that the LA Clippers got the #1 pick in this draft. They were the last team that I wanted to get Blake Griffin. I was really hoping that the Oklahoma City Thunder would have gotten him for several reasons.
First off, Griffin is a Oklahoma kid and it would have been great to see him remain there for his professional career ala Derrick Rose. Also, the Thunder would have gotten incredibly entertaining to watch. They would have an amazing young core of Russell Westbrook, Jeff Green, Kevin Durant, and Blake Griffin. I would watch every game they were nationally televised. But instead it looks like Griffin will be going to the malfunctional Clippers franchise which already has a crowded ( and overpaid) front line. What do you think?
