lottery behind closed doors
there is always conspiracy that the lottery is rigged for example large market teams( LAC, Chicago last year) get better spots then small market teamsSAC this year) with worse records but i dont necessarily believe them cuz for every piece of evidence theres one against it( Boston missing out on Oden/ Durant while Seattle and Portland-2 tiny northwesten markets had the oppurtunity to draft potential franchise players)
if conspiracys are proven wrong with teams like portland and seatle getting top picks, and stern of course says nba is legit...why do they continue to do this behind closed doors?
I'm with you. If OKC would have gotten the #1 this year...I would be convinced, with 100% certainty in my mind, that it was rigged. It's bad enough that the refs are a part of "choosing" a winner in the NBA, but faking a draft lottery is a real joke. I am with everyone else, why don't they at least tape what happens behind the closed doors so that the "rigged" talk can change. Then we will just start saying they are weighting certain balls differently. Now, I think that they just say a number whether it's what pops up or not and the GM's and such are too far away to know the difference.
But, hey, thanks for Derrick Rose coming back home with that 1.7% Stern!
With NBA TV and 24 sports channel's, 7 ESPN's, etc.
Doesn't the NBA think that there might be a market for the ENTIRE draft process to be on tape/televised? You know that they do but they want to have more control over what happens. Maybe they don't rig it every year, like with Oden and Durant. But, LeBron to Cleveland? Rose to Chicago? Shaq and Penny (well, Webber) to the NBA's newest and shiniest franchise in Orlando? Next year? I doubt that John Wall will go to the Sacramento Kings. Now, the Las Vegas Kings maybe...

So does anyone know why they close the doors when the ping pong balls are going?
