European BasketballerParticipantLinos Chrysikopoulos

MakarosParticipantSeriously European Baller, the name change just to erase the negative points must be the stupidest thing I have ever seen….
On topic, Chrysikopoulos is by the best Greek prospect who actually has a shot at being drafted… Proper measurements, specific position and skills that can easily translate in the NBA.
Too bad you’ve been such an annoying figure in these forums, every once in a while you actually post something worth seeing.

False. Chrysikopoulos is NOT the top Greek talent. Please get serious.

If you have a different opinion, please tell us. I really want to know about greek prospects, but sometimes you can be disrespectful when voicing your opinions. So please, take it easy this time.

European BasketballerParticipantChrysikopoulos left the Italian League club Biella and moved to the Greek League club PAOK. This is a good move for him, because PAOK is a much bigger club than Biella.

pohani komaracParticipantWhen I see Zoran Vrkic, Dino Erceg, Ivan Krolo in greek league all I can say Greek league is in deep shit
Zoran Vrkic last season playd in lega due, Italian 2nd division, and was not even factor in weak Croatian league when he joind Zadar. Krolo was just role player teribly bad Croatian league.

European BasketballerParticipantGreek League is MUCH BETTER than POS Adriatic League.

pohani komaracParticipantGreek league is …..
you have players who can’t play lower level leagues then ABA among leaders of some clubs. That’s fact
Oly and Pao are great, rest unfortunally terible do to economic reasons

European BasketballerParticipantYou clearly know nothing about what you are saying. Panionios, PAOK, Peristeri, Aris, Kolossos all of those teams have excellent rosters and very good players.
Even the other teams, except for Panelefsiniakos have fairly good rosters. Greek League is much better than Adriatic League.
The Greek rosters are loaded with excellent players all through the league. Greek League is still even better than Italian League.

pohani komaracParticipantyes i know, greek league is loaded with lot of bad players who are leaders of their clubs. unfortnally, Grek league is not relevant anymore

European BasketballerParticipantPAOK just beat Adriatic League club Skopje. Yeah, like I said, Greek League is better than Adriatic League.
You obviously know nothing about European basketball if you can scan the rosters of all the Greek clubs and say there are only two good teams there. Panionios would probably win the championship if they played in Adriatic League. They certainly have a stronger roster than Igokea, who leads in Adriatic League right now.

European BasketballerParticipantAfter PAOK beat Adriatic League club Skopje, they beat Euroleague club Olympiacos.
Earlier in the year, Greek club Ikaros also beat Euroleague club Panathinaikos.
So all this bullshit talk about Greek League is only two teams and nothing more is total fiction, fantasy, and imagination. I watch all the main national leagues in Europe. Only ones better than Greek League at this time are Spanish League and United League. Greek League is still better on average as a whole than every other European national league. Anyone that says otherwise has no clue what they are talking about and does not watch these leagues.
In truth, the last 6-7 teams of the Spanish League are no better than the bottom teams of Greek League either. Greek League teams still have good players, depth, excellent coaching, great home court advantages, and they still play very hard, play very good defense, and they still play fundamental basketball, with great pick and roll and 3 point shooting.
That alone still puts Greek League above leagues like France, Turkey, Germany, etc.
So PAOK is a “joke team” that beat Adriatic League team Skopje and Euroleague team Olympiacos in back to back games right……….
Like I said, anyone that could actually look at the rosters of some of these Greek clubs (like PAOk for example) like Pohani Komarac claims he did, and still claim these are joke teams that are “irrelevant” and “can’t compete with anyone” knows nothing about European basketball at all.
PAOK’s roster is easily better than the rosters of several teams that were in this year’s Euroleague. Greek League is still a very good league. PERIOD.

pohani komaracParticipantPaok is 1 of few decent teams left in Greece. Sorry, but no I can’t take to searius league where Vrikc and Krolo are serius players
ABA league is big shit last 2-3 years, to manny players taken by rich euro clubs, but atleast there is good depth, unlike in Greece. Same goes for Italy wich is also very bad last few years, but better overall then Greece
Only good leagues at moment are ACB, VTB and Russian hybrid version league. Turkish teams raised ivnestment (still lack of depth) as well as German teams (no super teams but big depth from best to worst teams)….then after those leagues comes Italian league, ABA, Greek, France and Poland by that order

slash787ParticipantHe looks pretty good but I did not he finished every layup with his right hand regardless of the position and dominated the ball with his right hand.
