(Chris Paul for Pau and Lamar anyone? How about a younger Pau Gasol for a fatter Marc Gasol and Javaris Crittendon, not to mention Aaron Mckie who was retired at the time BTW…I could bring up the Kobe for Vlade Divac trade, or the Karrem trade and many others but I won’t)

2. The Media is trying to force a divide between Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant, whenever Russell takes more shots than Kevin they’ll jump on him and bring up the same points of debate, he is not a Pg and he may be too wild but he’s a superstar in a small market, one that has another Superstar in Kevin Durant…

My thinking is that several teams want the Thunder to choose between the two and create a bidding war for the others Talent…I think Russell could get OKC a small fortune of prospects and players if they ever fell into the Media’s trap, I can see the pressure getting the two players eventually and Durant being the lone stud in Oklahoma…all media fueled, media created drama

3. The NBA wanted Jeremy Lin to sign with Houston because of the teams familiarity with China steming back from the Yao Ming days, even though NYC was a huge platform for lin and the NBA they didn’t want him to become lost in the New York shuffle and get exposed under its bright lights, Lin wearing the red Rockets uniform(The Rockets also have yellow in the Retro jerseys’) will be a much bigger selling uniform than his New York Knick Blue and Orange, Yao’s jersey is still a huge seller in China and Asian markets, Lin will see a similar success due to the connection and color scheme of the Rockets jersey, this is the same reason why Red, White and Blue jerseys’ sell in the USA and Puerto Rico, the Chineese/Taiwaneese will flock to buy the Red colored jersey with Lin’s name attached

 Why wouldn’t the NBA want Jeremy Lin in its biggest market?  They are set to make way more in Lin being in New York.  Plus the asian population is bigger in New York than in Houston.

5.Jeff Van Gundy said he had a source tell him,that the NBA ordered the referees calling the playoff games between the Mavs & Rockets to call more fouls on Yao Ming,becuz of previous protests from Mavs owner Mark Cuban, that Yao wasnt being called for fouling…

6.Shaq & Kobe didnt play up to par on purpose,and sabotaged the 2004 Finals trying to get the other 1 traded..

7.Utah,Pacers,Boston & Portland always have to have at least 1 White Player on their roster every year..

8.The NBA Forced a Dress Code becuz the NBA Had a Reputation as a Gangsta League..

The NBA was Loving the Attention it was Receiving while Lin was in New York..It brought in people who didnt follow basketball,they tuned in just to see what everyone else was talking about..Linsanity was talked about on millions of Local Nightly Newscasts in cities across the country…He was bringing in millions of new fans from across the world…..

The Cold Envelope is a legendary one plus various teams getting top pick each year but then why didn’t the Knicks get a lottery pick in 2008 or 2009 for example, putting D-Rose or Griffin in MSG would have been a marketing dream.

Lin moving was purely a decison by the Knicks not to match his Houston offer, why would the NBA want him away from the Knicks.
