    Found this interesting..

LeBron has never lost in the first round of the playoffs.

    Kobe has lost 3 times.

    Jordan has lost 3 times.

So while many of us are so quick to jump the gun on LeBron about how unclutch he is truth be told that while LeBron is only 2/5 in the NBA Finals he has to this day never been knocked out in the opening round.

Not bashing on Jordan as he was also 40 years old playing for the Wizards when he didnt make it past the first round twice but I just found it interesting we are so quick to judge LeBron on his losses to the best team in the league when these facts are hidden away by the media

wait I dont get it. The wizards didn’t even make the playoffs during the jordan days and you count that as not making it out the first round and lebron didn’t make the playoffs as a rookie and that doesn’t coubt as not making it out the first round? I’m confused

The fact that these kind of comparisons are brought up shows how bad Lebron fans want him to be the greatest.  Grasping to anything including who has been eliminated in the first round the most.  Comparing him to two players who have won 5 and 6 titles respectively…. But yeah let’s look at the ever important first round…. Where great players are truly made.

Forget the stats and the rings and the first round playoff exits.  Anybody who was fortunate enough to watch MJ and LBJ knows who the GOAT is.

6 is greater than 2, 5 is greater than 2!

Now lets talk when Lebron catches up, title wise!

Here’s my last ring count ranking system

    MJ-6 Rings

    Kobe-5 rings

    Duncan-5 rings

    Shaq-4 rings

    Wade-3 rings

    James-2 rings

    Dirk-1 ring

    KG-1 ring

    Not to mention

Tony Parker(4), Manu Ginoboli(3), Pippen(6), Rodman(4), Jason Kidd, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, all Hall of Fame players and Champions, some multiple times over…

And I’m leaving out Bird, Magic, Kareem and Russell…

Lebron is a rare talent and pound for pound one of the most talented players ever, but lets not forget that most of the players mentioned above surpass him in many accomplishments (titles, MVP’s, Points/Rebounds/Assist)

Hell talent wise Allen Iverson is probably thr best pure scorer/player ever (remember when the game was designed for a player to put the ball in the basket to out score his opponent?, well Iverson did that better than almost any one ever in a 6 foot frame!, and guess what NO TITLES!)

This is silly. LeBron blows most of these guys out of the water. The ones he doesn’t are guys who are retired and LeBron is only 29 and played 11 seasons. He could have 8+ years left and half of them could be elite. Here is everyone you listed where they were at the same stage as LeBron. I’ll bold the spots they win through 11 years.

      LeBron James-23170 points 6086 rebounds 5790 assists 1444 steals 675 blocks 4 MVP’s 2 rings 8x All NBA 1st

      MJ-24489 points 4879 rebounds 4377 assists 2025 steals 739 blocks 4 MVP’s 4 rings 8x All NBA 1st

      Kobe-19296 points 4073 rebounds 3561 assists 1170 steals 467 blocks 3 rings 5x All NBA 1st

      Timmy-17796 points 9747 rebounds 2583 assists 651 steals 1992 blocks 2 MVP’s 4 rings 9x All NBA 1st

      Shaq-20475 points 9012 rebounds 2113 assists 526 steals 1936 blocks MVP 3 rings 5x All NBA 1st

      Wade-17481 points 3605 rebounds 4301 assists 1262 steals 696 blocks 3 rings 2x All NBA 1st

      Dirk-19084 points 7182 rebounds 2247 assists 776 steals 857 blocks MVP 4x All NBA 1st

      KG-17337 points 9567 rebounds 3833 assists 1193 steals 1450 blocks MVP 3x All NBA 1st

You can argue whether he will age as well as some of these guys but barring a catastrophic injury he’s going to pass nearly everyone on this list in most stats and accomplishments. Only Duncan and Jordan are comparable through 11 years, everyone else is blown out of the water. Plus who knows LeBron could age better then any of them.

Doesn’t that prove my point? Despite being the most accomplished player (arguably) of the group only KG and Dirk have less rings. Why? He’s had far less talent on his teams.

Dude after calling me biased at every turn, I think it’s pretty obvious that you’re all on Lebron’s dick with this "no talent around him" crap. That’s the most slanted stuff I’ve ever seen.

LeBron isn’t even my favorite player. He just gets ripped on more then anyone else for stupid reasons. If you think LeBron has had comparable talent to any of those guys supporting casts outside of KG you’re a bigger fool then I thought.

HE BASICALLY CHOSE HIS OWN TEAM! He decided to leave Cleveland to play with all stars and HOFers, don’t even start with that. The talent level is comparable to almost all of the players you mentioned. No one was saying this crap when the Heat steam rolled the Bobcats, and handled the Pacers. You’re making up a bogus opinion to support your Lebron loving argument. Go ahead make all the excuses for him that you want, none of the other all time greats needed that.

Whatever go on and repeat the same stuff and make excuses because you feel bad for Lebron. He dissed the team that drafted him about as hard as any player has in history to play with the team he has now. The supporting cast argument is moot and pointless because that’s exactly what he chose.

Well at least I know your agenda now. You hate him for leaving Cleveland and making a superteam. I’ll just chalk it up as another person whose opinion cannot be taken seriously around here, at least when it comes to LeBron. I just find it funny that after I put you in your place yesterday you come at me again and try make more absurd claims. Duncan, Jordan, Kobe, etc. having the same talent around them as LeBron? Did you watch basketball before 2010?

I’m not a Cleveland or Lebron fan and I don’t hate him. Nothing I’ve written on here could be construed as such unless it’s by you who really "put me in my place". He should have done better to be considered a great on the level of MJ or Bird and you throw up all the excuses for him that you can because you obviously love him.

Next thing we know you’ll be starting posts about how awesome the Lebron app is and what his ball sweat tasted like.

Sometimes I think when people think about MJ’s stats and championships we need to remember that he retired twice.

Who knows what he and the Bulls could have done. They could have had 7 championships in a row and maybe squeeze in 1-2 more because of their age (Ask the Spurs about winning with age).

Who knows how many personal stats like pts, rb, ast, blk, stl, etc he could have had if he didn’t get injured his 2nd season and both retirements.

When you compare someone to MJ #’s don’t tell the full story about him. Like Magic Jordan said, if you were fortunate to watch MJ you know what’s up. All of his videos are on youtube.. check em out!

I think its funny how desperate some folks seem to be to justify LeBron as something he’s not.  LeBron is one of the most talented basketball players to ever walk this planet.  He’s a Hall of Famer.  He’s a multiple time MVP.  He’s a multiple time Champion.  Its ok that he’s not the GOAT.
