Vivid5292ParticipantI just read from a tweet by Brian Windhorst of ESPN that Lebron said, "It’s about finishing our breakfast." in reference to tonight’s game against the Sixers. I don’t care how good your team is or how good you are as an individual player. DON’T disrespect any team like that. They’ve been playing hard throughout the entire series and don’t deserve that. You’re just adding fuel to their fire. Then, IF you get beaten by your "breakfast", you end up looking downright stupid and pathetic. Damn Lebron can be arogant as phuck! I respect his game and all that, but sometimes he be feeling himself too much. This is a lot of talk from a man who hasn’t even won a championship yet.
I’ll be damned if somebody said that about my team. Don’t be suprised if the Sixers come harder than before tonight. Should be an interesting game to watch.
DONT HATE ON MY OPINION!!!

apb540ParticipantFuck LeBron, such an arrogant prick. You can be arrogant when you have a couple rings. I hope my Sixers steal this game and Spencer Hawes lays MeBron out when he tries to come into the paint.

Ahkasi ClayParticipantever since he tried to use the race card to explain why people did not like him any more, I just don’t like the dude.
he might be a AssHat, but he is the most talented AssHat in the league

IndianaBasketballParticipantIf you’re a 76ers fan, you might not want to watch the game tonight… I think it’s going to be a blowout… Similar to what happened to my Pacers.

BKKnicksfanParticipantI’m sorry, but if Kobe said this, we’d be like "Yea, man’s super confident. He’s gonna have a great game". Because it’s LeBron…we gotta rag on him.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantDidn’t Jameer Nelson tell Rose.. "See you in the 2nd round"
I didn’t see anybody calling Jameer Nelson as arrogant "phuck"…
Hmm… I sense some hating….

ghrghrParticipantA few days back someone posted an article about trash talk, saying it isn’t done anymore and should come back. Trash talk is part of what makes the game fun, a player has the right to say anything he wants and it motivates both sides. Lebron has to play well and win to back it up and the other team will try to make Lebron shut up.
In sports you can always say whatever you want if you go out there and play well. If you don’t you just look like an idiot.

iminipandaParticipantSince when has Jammer Nelson words ever been news?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/27/2011 - 10:02am #525701
OhCanada-ParticipantThis wasnt trash talk, you dont trash talk through the media thats cowardly and what we just got an Grangers case for doing. Reserve the trash talk for the game.
I’m sorry, but if Kobe said this, we’d be like "Yea, man’s super confident. He’s gonna have a great game". Because it’s LeBron…we gotta rag on him.
Kobe has 5 championships, thats 5 more then Lebron. hats the difference. If Kobe said that everyone would recognize him as a cocky S.O.B., we would also respect it and appreciate it.

tubbyman1ParticipantThats just typical lebron thinking his superman and could do whatever he wants on the court. All he has done is added fuel to the 76ers fire I hope Iggy lays is ass out when he tries to get to the hoop. However he is the SECOND best player in the league so he has a little bit of room to talk but still cmon.

iguapops420ParticipantArrongant yes. But it’s sadly pthe truth. The Sixers are far exceeding expectations. But hustle with a little talent only gets you so far, just ask the 09 Rockets, this year’s Pacers, and more than likely Hornets and Blazers. They still need plenty of upgrades. Elton Brand while playing some killer D ain’t who he used to be. Hawes is only a starteter if you have a prime Brad Miller behind him similar to those great passing Kings of the early 2000’s with Vlade, or a stud defensively like Tyson Chandler with the Bulls coming off the bench bringing a consistent 7-9 pts and 8-10 rbs and 2 blocks.

MilwaukeeBucks5ParticipantI am not a really big Lebron fan but there shouldn’t be one person in this room who thinks that if the Heat play even close to their best game this won’t be at least a 10 point victory. The Heat haven’t put even close to a whole game together this series and i expect tonight they will. Its better for Lebron to say this than to say "i hope we tonight but if we don’t it’s ok because both teams are trying their best!"
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/27/2011 - 10:53am #525713
OhCanada-ParticipantNot being bias towards either team but if the Heat havent put even close to a complete game together this series like you say, and they just came off of a loss isnt that evidence leaningg towards a close game, instead of the suggested blowout.

TallmanNYCParticipantStopping the sweep by holding court in the fourth game seems to happen pretty often in the NBA. The lower seeded team puts it all out on the court to stop the season from coming to a close. The top seeded team looses focus as it knows it only has to win one out of the next four. This victory is usually followed by a blow out when the better team gets back to their home court.
I think Mr. Indiana has it right. The Sixers got their moral victory, they will let down just a touch, the Heat will hit a few more jumpers and the route will be on.

apb540ParticipantGreat point aboot Kobe. The Sixers got boatraced in game 2 btw.

the microwaveParticipantim not saying philly is better by any means, i would be insane to do so, but Philly had a LEGITIMATE shot to win games 1,3, and (4 – which they won)…. has anyone else watched this series? if so i would assume your watching the same game I am.. I do not care if Miami is playing 100 % their best or not, all the games but game 2 were close.. get off lebron, wade, and rupauls nutties..

KayjayParticipantThere are a lot of arrogant guys in the league. How he feels about the team means he’s focusing on the championship. Hate him if you want guys, you labled him with so many negative words, so now he’s probably embracing them. Me? I’m laughing, because when other people trash talk, its nothing. Lol but when Lebron does it, its a big deal. Oh pish posh. It may be disrespectful, but it shows how confident he is in his team.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/27/2011 - 12:04pm #525740
BKKnicksfanParticipantSo based on the rings logic, Kevin Durant cannot say anything, Dwight Howard cannot say anything, Blake Griffin cannot say anything, Chris Paul cannot say anything, Deron Williams cannot say anything.
Nope, it’s just LeBron hate.

bstokes25Participantif u had his talent and been hype up for as long as he had been u would start becoming arrogant. i have no problem with him saying this. what jarmeer nelson comment is more disrepectful than this.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/27/2011 - 12:17pm #525744
Scottoant93ParticipantHave you heard any of them trash talking in the playoffs….exactly plus The reason Lebron gets hated on is because he does on purpose to get attention. He’s like the spoiled brat who crys and yells so people pay attention. Stop caring and we would see the outcome
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/27/2011 - 12:18pm #525745
Scottoant93ParticipantI also agree that jameer nelson’s comments were wrong especally how the hawks were beating the shit of them in the past few games excluding the last one

OhCanada-ParticipantSo based on the rings logic, Kevin Durant cannot say anything, Dwight Howard cannot say anything, Blake Griffin cannot say anything, Chris Paul cannot say anything, Deron Williams cannot say anything.
Nope, it’s just LeBron hate.
Alot of people came down hard on Durant for his comments on Bosh, technically if he had of said that about anyone but the generally most hated on basketbal player he wouldve got more negative feedback. Dwight Howard has been criticized for comments SHaq relayed, and for his childish playful humour in the past. Paul doesnt say anything because he is the perfect model of sportsmanship and Williams cant say nothing after his stunt with Sloan. Blake is a rookie and not even in the playoffs, never has been. Come on.
Also guys like Durant and Paul have been such good guys during their time as superstars that they have more leniency then Lebron. Lebrons on a short leash especially after the decision, even know it was almost a year ago it cant be forgotten.
Let me go on the record saying it was not trash talk thou, just someting he shouldnt have said. Im not generally upset, or shocked he said this just shaking my head wondering when he will learn.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/27/2011 - 1:19pm #525760
Scottoant93ParticipantIts funny when people tell the truth about lebron they always get negatives. No one is doubting his talent, just his attitude and logic, As I stated before on this site he should have took some communication classes at college(he went straight from the high school i know) instead of listening to his friends

youngmagParticipant"It’s about finishing our breakfast" this is what has you amped up? I understanding this " I am taking my talent so South Beech" but the later is just trash talk he did say they suck where going to kill them he said it is about finishing the first series of the playoffs that we are up 3-1 games. No matter how close the games are it’s 3-1. I don’t like Bron as a person either and I hope they get smashed by the sixers to give my celts more rest, but their are up 3-1, in this series they can talk about finishing the sixers up tonight. Again so what if the games were close how many blow outs have there been in the playoffs.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/27/2011 - 2:13pm #525795
Scottoant93ParticipantI never said I cared if you read my comment I was saying why people hate on lebron "its about finishing our breakfast" is a stupid comment but not really offensive if the sixers take it that ways it just so they can get extra amped and more moviated I dont think they care.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 04/27/2011 - 3:42pm #525850
Ricky BobbyParticipantI’d say Dwayne Wade was being disrespectful by dunking that ball at the end of the game. He should of pulled it out due to the fact that the 76ers decided not to foul. That game was alot closer than I expected. Elton Brand was the more dominant Duke post player in the 1st round. Carlos Boozer was terrible. Can’t wait for Heat vs Celtics
