  The Suns have informed Goran Dragic that they will honor his trade request and work to deal him prior to Thursday’s deadline, according to RealGM’s Shams Charania.
  Dragic told the Suns that he plans to leave in free agency this summer, according to USA Today’s Sam Amick, so Phoenix may be willing to trade him below market value to avoid losing him for nothing in a few months. He’s been a steady top-70 fantasy value this season despite the arrival of Isaiah Thomas but a move elsewhere would almost certainly prove beneficial for the value of Dragic, Thomas and Eric Bledsoe. The Rockets and Lakers are both interested in Dragic, and Amick reports that there are "seven or eight teams" who qualify as "serious suitors" — meanwhile, Dragic’s camp is apparently lobbying for a deal with the Lakers, Knicks or Heat. No trade is imminent and it remains to be seen what the Suns will demand as compensation for their star 28-year-old PG.

    Granted nothing has happened yet, but why do I have a feeling that this isn’t going to turn out good for the Lakers. I don’t imagine they will give up anything of value for him, seeing how the Suns now have no leverage after making this public. But Dragic is good enough to maybe get them 3 or 4 extra wins that they don’t need to get. All for what? To have his bird rights? Fuck his bird rights. That just means that the Lakers (or whoever) will greatly over pay for him, and he will be close to 33 years old by the time that contract is up.
    Just wait it out, I just don’t see anyway where this ends good for the Lakers. Is he going to put up monster stats? doubt it. He has already regressed since his career year last year… and this is a contract year, usually players use that to cash in.
    Someone tell me I’m wrong and walk me back from the cliff. What’s a guy got to do to secure the top 5 fucking pick.

I know that Jennings is injured and the Pistons might be thinking of making a playoff push but trading for a guy who is overpaid, is on a decline, and is 33 doesn’t make sense to me. Jennings looked like he had finally turned a page on his career for the better. Plus, I thought SVG said he wouldn’t sacrifice any future assets to make a playoff push. Would Jennings be considered a future asset at 25 years old? What do you guys think?

Hopefully this isn’t a deadline where all the big rumors never come to fruition. Remember last year when Rondo and Love were gonna be dealt at the deadline? I want to see major moves, though a lot of them came earlier this season.

The agent for Oklahoma City guard Reggie Jackson has asked general manager Sam Presti to trade his client before Thursday’s NBA deadline, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Sources: Indy, Bos, Hou, Den all interested in Reggie Jackson. No guarantee OKC will trade him. They won’t give him away.

Nostalgic saps like me would naturally love to see KG play it out in Sota.
