PHXSUNDREAMPICK13ParticipantSuns and Kings discussing a swap of Cousins for a trade centered around the Suns potential top 5 pick of this years upcoming draft. Alex Len, TJ Warren, and future picks have been included in the proposal. To make the salary exchange, Brandon Knight would probably be involved. Eric Bledsoe and Devin Booker are not involved in the current proposal

mercyman25ParticipantFor the Sun’s. Giving up too much for an unproven star. Bag on Sacramento all you want, if Boogie were a winner we should have seen proof by now.

LovebugParticipantBoogie is a lot more proven than the Suns players/draft picks
hes retiring in Sacramento too. His extension was agreed upon

mercyman25ParticipantThe suns are in a rebuild. The kings are in a dumpster. Sarver is bad but anyone in sactown is bad.

LovebugParticipantThe suns are a dumpster and have no one to build around. Defenseless Booker and fragile combo guard Bledsoe arent that. Cousins needs better teammates. You sound like a teenager "anyone in sactown is bad"

mercyman25ParticipantThe King are just fine.

PHXSUNDREAMPICK13ParticipantI dont mind if the trade went down the opposite way. Pair Bledsoe in Sactown with Boogie for Rudy Gay to Suns and a protected 1st rounder or a future right to swap picks

machu46ParticipantFor the record, it sounds like these talks were not recent at all. I saw one of the NBA media guys saying these talks broke off before Christmas.
In terms of the trade itself, I would think Phoenix would have to include Chriss or Bender as well.

binetParticipantIt has not been completely/vehemently denied by Sacramento though…which means they are at least listenning to offers and letting this rumor get through to start the bidding war.
Phoenix has a lot of assets thanks to all these Miami picks that are looking promising particularly the 2018 that gets unprotected in 2019.
Marquese Chriss is looking promising enough to have value and even if they trade him they still keep bender as a promising prospect at this position.
I think Chriss-Suns pick 2017-Miami pick 2018 is clearly an interesting beginning of package, before making the money work and finding dealbreakers to beat the competition on the bidding war.
If Boston decides to put both BKN picks on a trade though they should be able to win the lot.

MatosParticipantTrade for Boogie would have to start with their top pick in this years draft and would likely have to include Chriss + Bender. Boogie is a bigger star than Love and Minnesota was able to cash in on that number 2 pick a couple of years ago.

HitsterParticipantGSW have waived Anderson Varejao to sign Briante Weber from the D-League. I wonder what the chances of Andy ending up back with the Cavs once he clears waivers.
