joecheck88Participantthis was bad, dallas is just hitting everything because they arent being guarded. they are not running up the score and even if they were, act like a professional. im glad barea is ok. the odom one wasnt terrible but i agree with the call because of the situation. but they bynum one was horrible and i think he should get a 5 game suspension for next year too.

The had to trade two or their bigs and hope they can package Artest in that deal and get a back a shooter, a young athletic wing and maybe some picks. The lakers dont have to start from scratch but they have to try and unload some of those bad contracts i.e blake, walton, Artest, and Fisher.

IndianaBasketballParticipantAbout time the Mavs actually did something… Looks like they could actually win it this year. I’d be happy for Dirk. They’re defense is straight up selfish.
I was rooting for the Lakers, but am not disappointed they lost. I like seeing the best teams advance. The Lakers were playing like the fourth best team left in the West. The Blazers played the Mavs tougher than the Lakers did.
It’ll be interesting to see if Phil Jackson really leaves like this. It’ll also be interesting to see what the Lakers do this summer. It’s crazy how at one point, people thought this team could win another one or two titles and now they look like they should blow it up this summer. I mean, Pau was pathetic. They looked old, unathletic and uninspired.

TallmanNYCParticipantBynum’s cross check was a very dangerous and bullshit play. Definitely failed to show character. People are talking about a two game suspension next year, try two weeks.
Odom’s play was low class, but it was safe play. Also there probably had been a lot words back and forth between him and Dirk. I doubt there is a suspension of Odom for that.
