nick5354ParticipantAs a Cleveland fan, (I know this might seem extrmely bias) but Kyrie has got game. I have been amazed at how much he can play. I knew he was good, but this kid is going to be a star.
He can shoot the ball straight up. He has a really soild 3 point and a lethal mid range shot.
Kyrie has no fear. All the game that I have seen (all of them ahaha) he has been rejected hard and went down hard. For a young point guard, to be rejected several times, this means to stop driving and settle for a jumper. However, for Kyrie he goes back to the rim. Time after time, he shows no fear in driving to the hoop with the masisve and big bodied NBA players.
Irving’s best quaility, in my opinion, is his handle. the handle he has is down right crazy. He knows how to get passed, around and dribble his way around the court and especially going to the rim. In one game he split 3 or 4 defenders ad finished strong at the rim
Also, Irving’s maturity is another star factor. He works hard, doesn’t get caught up in the hype of No.1 pick and is a smart kid. He knows how to run offence and a team. I would not guess he is a 19 year old on his maturity levels.
And finally his playmaking/passing skills. This is the part of his game which seems to have been forgetten by some NBA fans. Many people incurrently state he is a "pass first" type Point guard, which drives me crazy. His playmaking and passing skills are understated due to Cleveland’s roster. Let’s face it, there isn’t much for Irving to work with. Unlike Rubio which is surrounded with young talent. And the first line up in which Irving plays his mintues with is less productive than the second unit (E.g why Sessions is averaging 8 assits off the bench). Irving knows how to hit up a team mate, he can create plays for his team and find them in ridculous places.
Also to add, he has much, much better size than those who say "he doesn’t have John Wall or Derrick Rose build". He is bigger than than first appearence standing at 6’3". Yes, he doesn’t have a build like those players but that is not a reason to shot him down
What are your thoughts on him or am I just a delusional Cleveland fan?

OhCanada-ParticipantWhy do you think Sessions is averaging 8 assists off the bench. He is averaging 5, same as Irving.

nick5354ParticipantOh yes i just checked. He had 3 games of 1 assist which bought him down. If you disliked that over that that is silly haha

db24kb24ParticipantYeah I saw him play earlier this year against minnesota, and he really is That Good. His decision making impressed me, even when he would miss shots or passes they were all attempted at the right times. I hope he gets some championship pieces to help him in cleveland.

nick5354ParticipantJust watched Cavs vs Jazz and Kyrie was on fire once again. He split 3 defenders, spined and layed it off the glass. Just in shock about this kid.

nick5354ParticipantAnd he wants to get better. He trains hard and is not a number 1 egotistic kid. There is excitement in Cleveland once again!
