ag-pennypackerParticipantWhy doesn’t a team desperately looking for a point guard trade for this guy. A team like Sacramento that is openly looking for a point guard should give this guy a look. The knock on him in the past was that he didn’t have a jump shot, but his jumper has looked great this season. He just looks too good to be a back up.

doubledribblerParticipantI like him a lot. I think the Rockets signed him to the deal he got just in case Aaron Brooks decided to leave so I don’t see them trading him for the time being. I have heard that Brooks wasn’t happy not getting to talk about an extension, but so are a lot of guys right now. Superstars are likely the only ones going to get any type of extension with the CBA coming up.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantLowry can fill in as a short term starter,he’ll post decent numbers becuz the amout of minutes he’ll receive….But he has too many limitations to be counted as a full-time starter..His lack of height is 1 setback and he has a low basketball IQ,and that can be very bad if you’re a point guard..They’re the decision makers on the floor…
But he’s fearless ,built like a linebacker and he’s a great penetrator….

Counting StarsParticipantHe was a restricted free agent this summer and the Rockets made it clear they would match all offers for him. I wouldn’t expect him to go anywhere.

balla619ParticipantKing could use a PG, your right Rockets probably keep him they have plenty of money coming off.
Lowry definately reminds me of a football players with his size a Safety, the Jets could use 1.
They got turned down by that train worker I heard ha.

JNixonParticipantLowry’s lack of height would limit him in terms of efficiency if he played starter minutes for an entire season. He’s never been efficient as a scorer and he’s not all that good a playmaker for others. Certainly not a guy who will make guys much better than they already are. He also is a mediocre shooter too. To me, he’s a top-notch backup, but I wouldn’t expect him to quarterback a good team unless he’s paired with a bunch of scorers who can produce without the ball in their hands alot.
