paradigmnParticipantWell…its offical…one of the top players in the class of 2012, KYLE ANDERSON has chosen UCLA…via twitter
It shouldnt be much of a suprise since his name on twitter is VINNY CHASE after the character from the HBO series Entourage….obviously he wants the limelight that LA offers.
UCLA is also in serious contention for Shabazz Muhammad….WOW…if they can land both those guys….that would have to be one of the better 2 recruits going to the same team that has happened in quite a while. Here is a quick player profile of Kyle Anderson:

hiphopismylifeParticipantThis is really big. Not a huge UCLA fan or anything but if Shabazz Muhammad joins him with the front line they have that team will be scary next year.
I hope the plan is for Anderson to play at the point.

providencefriars1ParticipantHe also had said via twitter that the realignment wont affect his decision, which meant to me that Seton Hall, Gtown, and St. Johns were eliminated.

orangeshadow83ParticipantI like Kyle Anderson and feel he will be the perfect glue payer for any team he can do a lil bit of everything, reminds me of Chandler Parsons but with a little more talent. If Shabazz also goes to UCLA that will be a scary team

mikeyvthedonParticipantI am sure he will more than likely be the guy running the show for UCLA next year. If Shabazz does indeed join him, think they might be raising another banner in Westwood. UCLA has not gotten a big man recruit for 2012, but they have a sweet stable with the Wear twins, Reeves Nelson, Joshua Smith and Anthony Stover. I believe that Nelson and Smith are possible early entry for the 2012 draft, though it is a distinct possibility that Nelson returns, or they both do. If they do, with the addition of Shabazz at the 2, I can not see how they would not be serious favorites for the 2013 NCAA championship with the likely early entries from other schools.
Now, as far as them being the best two recruits to go to a school in quite a while, that could be debatable. Kentucky landed John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins, plus Anthony Davis and Mike Gilchrist this year. Still, this would address two HUGE need positions for UCLA, who I believe would like Larry Drew to more than likely be in a back-up role. Anderson is one of the more versatile players who has come around in quite some time, even if they "only" end up with him, they should be bar none Pac-12 favorites and a serious contender.
The UCLA back court seems to be a major weakness this year, but come next year, with Dominic Artic and Jordan Adams also joining the fold, they are already the team to beat with guard depth. Remember, Adams played Shabazz earlier this summer when his Atlanta Celtics team faced Dream Vision. Shabazz put up 38 and Adams put up 39. This in no way means Adams is the better prospect, Shabazz clearly has laid claim to top spot in this class, but it shows this kid can play. Artis is also a legitimate prospect who should flourish as a back-up during his freshman year and play a major role later as an upperclassmen. Very exciting day for llperez and other Bruins fans (You know I bleed Green and Yellow, but I do like Bruins basketball. I read my Bar Mitzvah portion on top of Masada wearing a Charles O’Bannon #13 jersey and UCLA shorts, lol)!

paradigmnParticipantCharles Obannon….Tyus Edny….and my personal fav…TOBY BAILY…dude could fly….I remember I was invited to a couple bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvas (for girls) when I was 13…I could honestly say FUN TIMES….basically a make out session with girls…..lol
You are right as far as Wall, Cousins and Gilcrhest n Davis being a recent all-star recruiting duo’s..I got carried away when I heard about slo-mo going to ucla and then I thought about Shabazz going thier as well….just kinda made me think of the sick possibilities…kinda wish I was a Bruin fan now!!!
