chaParticipantHey guys, just wanted to know what are you thoughts and opinions about this kid from the Philippines, Kobe Paras. Yes, his dad, one of the greatest Philippine basketball players of all time, named him after Kobe Bryant. I believe he is the greatest hope for all the home-grown pure filipino prospects out there to make it to the NBA. From what I see, he’s got hops, length and good frame plus he can stroke it from deep. He’s already received a couple of offers from Fresno State and UCLA. And it was announced earlier this week that he intends to stay in LA and play for UCLA. Hopefully he can add muscle to his frame, nourish his basketball IQ, hone his skills and eventually get a shot at a NBA team down the road.

Jr. ROXASParticipantDo you have any highlights of him? I’m from his country but I actually never seen him play yet. There is no such hypevids such as ballislife here haha. I just know he jumps really high, not sure about his overall skillset. I do hope he gets ample playing time with UCLA though.
