Knicks bought Lakers pick
Simple as that, they were already offering up Farmar to the Rockets. I have them taking him in the second round since I think he'll drop. Meeks isn't going that early and neither is Pendergraph, or I don't think.
If Minnesota doesnt package their 2 late first rounders, #28 could be sold too.
D'Antoni was high on McClinton but Ellington, Claver, Green, Brown could be available and they are better choices.
I'd be very happy with Claver or Ellington. I feel the same way about him knicksboy. He has 2-guard talent in a 6'10" frame. Looks like a more athletic Gallo. I heard he hasnt looked that good since he hurt his knee though.

apparently they're going after UM's Jack McClinton, not a bad pick up I suppose, he would fill the eddie house type roll on that team, don't forget House lit it up in D'antoni's system a few years ago.
"The Knicks, meanwhile, are looking to add another guard through Thursday's draft, a source told Katz, and they might look at the University of Miami's Jack McClinton at No. 29. The Knicks made inquiries about McClinton with the school as late as Wednesday."
Knicks arent even sure he'll play in America i think if they dont get Jordan Hill theyll go after Taj Gibson, if they get Jordan Hill i think theyll go after a Euro that D'Antoni loves maybe that french guard buebois
I heard about McClinton too. I hope not, he is not a top 30 player. If I was the Knicks
8- Jrue Holiday (Defensive-minded, 6-4 and a slasher as a PG)
29- Victor Claver (6-10, PG skills but he will stay over in euro for 2 years)
also, in FA we should add CJ Miles, Gerald Green and Marcin Gortat
I saw like the Knicks mock draft board...
1. Curry
2. Evans
3. Holiday
4. Hill
5. Jennings

I haven't seen in a while Jonny Flynn getting any consideration by the Knicks. I believe he will make a great PG for the team, and he is not just a guy who plays Offense he prides himself in D.
Flynn going to the Knicks and staying in that orange. ;)
Gerald and Darko restarting their careers in New York would be great, but I think Green is still with the Mavs for one more season, or is he? Also, someone told me that I shouldn't wait to work on my Mock because later this site will become horribly slow and mess up alot...something about them not adding that server after all. It's working better then the past couple of days though.
He was still a star without that game, its just other places across the country understood who he was. If you look at the Knicks roster, he is the type of player they need. Its not like there roster is stacked with guys who are team players. They wonder why they cant make the playoffs in the east
I was thinking about something similar but if Harden fell. Lawson may also fall to 29. I think Donnie has settled on Holiday. I wish we would trade our pick to Chicago for 16 and 26. Chicago would love Harden or Henderson in the backcourt with Rose. Jennings may still be available at 16. Brown at 26 and Claver at 29.
Who are you looking at 29?
I mean i have like 5 ideal players
Pendergraph
Gibson
Meeks
Mills
Ellington
also...i keep think Jerebko.
I also keep hearing Minnesota does not like Harden....but what if GS takes him because they like the passing guard/forward type.
I'm not high on Gibson, Mills and Jerebko. I think its a reach for Pendergraph and maybe Meeks. I prefer Ellington or Brown if hes still available as BPA. I love Claver and hope we grab an early 2nd rounder to get him.
I wouldnt be upset with;
Ellington
Brown
Claver
Meeks
Summers
Lawson
Mills
Green
Yeah theres a few. Alot of other Ironworkers and construction guys I work with in the city are hardcore. We just havent had anything to be excited about for a long time.
LOL...rubio i dont blame you man. I remember going to knicks games when i was 3 years old man. My baby set with Orange and Blue man.
Almost 80% of NY people like the Knicks but there is a die-hard 20% of them who still die by the team.
If they take him at 29, they are braindead. There will be so many better SGs available at that spot, they would be nuts to reach on someone so one-dimensional. Ellington, Meeks, Thornton, Douglas, Taylor all should be there - all better than McClinton.
No disrespect to him, I liked him as a collegian & he could surprise me as a pro, but I just can't imagine they paid $3 million to grab McClinton at that spot.
Couldn't they get McClinton is mid second round? Why trade for a late first for that?

The Knicks just bought the Lakers pick #29.
