I think some might be sleeping on him too much. I love how the guys on this site have him going 28 as I think he is a great pickup in the mid 20’s area. He’s tall for an NBA small forward with a very high release point and his ability to put the ball on the floor and hit a mid range shot is a big strength of his and should be able to translate well. I don’t think scouts should rely to much on his junior season as that knee injury really bothered him throughout the year. If he can improve on his spot up 3-point shooting I think he could become one of the real steals of the class.

frogmanParticipantI think you are missing a few key words in that sentence.

river09ParticipantI’m a fan of his, but he seems perilously skinny. That said I definitely agree with you, with his length, ball skills and jumper (which has a quick, compact and high release) i can definitely see him really being good. I could see him playing a bit from the SG spot as well where his length could cause issues on both ends for opponents..

TRC1991Participantmiddleton shouldn’t have returned to school, his stock was far higher last year

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI Agree with Taylor Condrin,he was listed as a lottery pick during the 2011-2011 season..There were a few people that was comparing him to Joe Johnson..He should’ve came out then…Yet people liked him enuff to tout him as preseason Big 12 Player of the Year for the season that just ended…But injuries really slowed his progress and he never seemed comfortable on the floor…
But i’ve been hearing that he’s had alot of great workouts and now is considered a borderline 1st rounder and a steal if he last until the 2nd round….Boston,Dallas, Memphis and the Spurs are rumored to be interested in him…

river09ParticipantAh! Was just thinking about this, would a poor mans Joe Johnson perhaps be a accurate comparison?

KHAM83ParticipantNo way he passes Chicago. Mocks have them targeting Jenkins, but I think they are licking their chops at the chance to add Middleton. I doubt he falls that low though. Not everyone can be sleeping on him, it’s not like it’s not obvious he was injured during the year. There’s some team, early 20s at the latest that’s being quiet about him. Would be nice for Cleveland to grab him.

JNixonParticipantKhris Middleton plays alot like Gordon Hayward to me, maybe a little more unorthodox with his game (especially from mid-range) but their are similarities
