Think its coincidence Lebron mentioned him in that "contraction" rant?
Think its coincidence hes one of the few players by name Lebron has given due on Twitter?
Could you think of a more perfect fit more Miami then a guy that just rebounds?
2012-2013 range, Kevin Love will go to the Heat.

bdoody42ParticipantHe is becoming a very good player but lets not carried away and call him a star. He is still a HUGE defensive liability. He is a great rebounder and good offensive player, but I feel a star should bring it on both ends of the floor.

The fact that Minnesota lost should tell you all you need to know about those empty numbers. It still only takes one quarter of energy and focus for Boston to beat them.

Toronto16ParticipantBad coaching by Rambis. Wes Johnson was open for an easy lay-up and he selfishly called a time out so he can draw up a play and be the hero of the game.

BigDParticipantBoston is a veteran team that knows what to do to win championships, Minnesota has no veterans basically at all, of course Boston would be able to win the game just in 1 quarter. You can’t deny Kevin Love is making a name for himself to become one of the top PF’s in the game. He still grabbed 23 rebounds on them.

Ghost01ParticipantKevin Love is making a name for himself to become one of the top PF’s in the game
Amare
Boozer
Bosh
TD
Dirk
Griffin
Scola
Aldridge
Gasol
Randolph
West
Love isnt one of the best PFs. He is putting up numbers, if in doing so he is "making a name for himself", then so be it, but he isnt helping his team win. And he surely isnt one of the best PFs in the league yet, outside Griffin (a rookie) every other guy on this list is either in the playoffs or still contending for 1. The only thing Kevin Love’s team is contending for is the #1 pick.

BigDParticipantI didn’t say he was at the moment. Look at the ages of basically everyone else on that list, they are all over the age of 26 basically. Love is like 23. People had no problem saying Bosh was good on a pretty bad Toronto team, Griffin is putting up numbers on a bad Clippers team and he isn’t really helping them win either, does that mean Griffin isn’t good either. Most of those PF’s were on a bad team in their early days.

llperezlove is legit. The "he isnt helping his team win" argument only goes so far. You honestly think he doesnt make that team better? You really think if you took love off the wolves and replaced him with aldridge, boozer, millsap, odom, west, randolph etc… they would be a much improved team? Love is getting props becasue he is earning them and every team in the L woule like to have him.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantThose guys would make Minnesota better because they are better players. You can see that in the results of the teams they have been on throughout their careers. You can’t find losses for three out of four games for three years on their resumes. It is because they do make their teams better. Nobody is making the claim Love shouldn’t be in the league, but the numbers don’t have great meaning because of how inept the team is. He is a part of the ineptitude because he is a lousy defensive player and isn’t particularly efficient offensively, which allows good teams with actual players worthy of praise can turn it on whenever they want and win. When you remove context from the numbers that guys can put up on losing team, you end up with people praising the greatness of Andray Blatche and calling him the next KG. Oh, wait… the bloom is off that rose now isn’t it.

I May Be WrongParticipant“The fact that Minnesota lost should tell you all you need to know about those empty numbers. It still only takes one quarter of energy and focus for Boston to beat them.”
RELAX bro, that was not the point I was trying to make. You’ve been coming down on a lot of posters lately for their opinions and liking players that put up good numbers but have not been able to translate that into wins for their team. All I wanted to do was give this man his praise. 15 rebounds is amazing now if a player does that for a game but here we are 35 games later and LOVE IS AVERAGING that number. It’s an amazing feat for someone to crash the board like that especially since it has been 5-6 season since we saw a player crash the board like that with Ben Wallace.
But if you want to get into the loss, then I have to ask you this, Did anyone imagine that the Wolves would take the Celtics down to the final 30 seconds of the game on the road? HECK NO! No one expects the dismal wolves to win on the road where they are 2-18. But for them to lose to the Celtics only by 3 is pretty astonishing. And you have to credit Love for some of that. Grabbing 24 rebounds (19 defensive) gives the Celtics lots of less opportunities to score and get second chance buckets. I know, Love was 3-11 and only had 12 points but where he makes up for it was him hustling and giving his team second chances.
I know, you love players that win games and they deserve all the glory they get but relax a little bit and just apperciate what this man has done in his 3rd season. Who knows how good his career will turn out but lets give him some time
