As the season is about to get underway do you guys think that the warriors will end up regretting not giving up klay, david lee, and barnes for love?

Is love’s value greather than that of those three combined?

Just curious of your guys’ thoughts.. I think it will be an intersting story to watch as the season progresses.

There is no way that Love is worth those 3 players straight up. Now when it comes to contract / salary cap issues, i didnt look into it.

There was no need for GS to include Barnes. If that was the sticking point then Flip is an a$$. AW/AB are better than having Lee/Barnes IMO, though because Lee makes as much as Kevin Love.

I would have traded Thompson and Lee for Kevin Love because I would still be covered on the wings with Barnes, Iggy and Green. However continuity matters and I wasn’t really found of Mark Jackson as an offensive tactician as a coach in the new NBA. They still have that and a new coach who will folow the trends and numbers.

I doubt they will regret it but paying Lee and Klay 15 a piece next year is not better than paying Love 22 next year. In the end it probably won’t matter.

I would had given up the number one pick for Klay even before Embiid was hurt, but that’s just me.

Kevin Love for Klay, David Lee, and Harrison Barnes is a pretty fair trade.

BUT, are you just getting ONE GUY who can do the things that the previous 3 already did?

Klay can shoot, shoot, score, and shoot.

David Lee can rebound, rebound, and not defend.

Harrison Barnes provides depth at the forward spot and was kind of a big deal back in college at a blue chip program.

As it is, I really like a healthy team of Steph, Klay, Iggy, Barnes, D. Lee, Draymond Green, and Bogut.

… I think the Warriors should have asked for Gorgui Dieng.  Young depth at center.

Then again, if Bogut is healthy, they could probably get a cheaper backup rim protector.  Not saying that Ezeli is not the guy though.
