SuckerpunchParticipantI think after this, Marshall will either be in the D-League or traded. They don’t seem like they are too pleased with him

sammybuckeye13ParticipantBledsoe will be at the 1 with Dragic at SG. Dragic is 6-3 and a better off-ball scorer.

realkerrykittles30ParticipantHe twitts alot I wonder how he feels bout the trade. So I’m guessing Bledsoe starts at the 2 and Marshall the backup they also have Archie Goodwin. They still need a veteran off the bench. I’m thinking Monta Ellis or Corey Brewer. But Kendall Marshall was lineup to be the starter once Nash left now he be a backup for his career.

drk3351ParticipantNow the Suns need to deal Gortat for picks or a young prospect. Then you got Bledsoe, Dragic, Len to build around and whoever you get for Gortat.

qDizzle32ParticipantMy expectations were never too high on Kendall Marshall even when he played at UNC. He could contribute as a role player down the road but nothing more.

ph90702How did he even make the league when he’s not athletic and can’t shoot? I get that he’s a good passer, but how can you create for others when the defense doesn’t respect you as a scoring threat?

db24kb24ParticipantWhen you’re the point guard passing to Barnes, Henson, Zeller your assists totals increase, your lack of scoring ability isn’t glaring, and you don’t, or shouldn’t, lose too many games.
When you’re a Roy Williams/UNC pg you probably get undeserved credit. If he played for a lesser college team he doesn’t make the NBA. I’m a Tar Heel guy and I hate the fact that Casper Ware wasn’t drafted and Kendall went 13! That was messed up.

JoeWolf1Goodwin will play most of the year in the D-League, Bledsoe will play some 2 and Marshall will still be Marshall. I though he was a poor value selection in the lotto last year, but he’s got great vision and I think he’ll play an increased role next year. He’s not a high upside guy, at all, but I think he’s got a chance to be a pretty solid backup pretty soon.

WetalkinboutpracticeParticipantOrlando should take a look at Marshall. They could probably pull him for cheap considering he has virtually no trade value.

laarethekingsParticipantIt’s funny how you guys right people off after their rookie year. Marshall needs to work on his shot and that’s it. This kid is one of the most gifted passers in the league today. If he can get a jump shot working he’ll play in the NBA for 15 years.
A team that should look to trade for him if the Suns don’t want him are the Kings. They have a lot of players that like to shoot the ball. This kid could drop dimes for them.

John Henson’s MuppetsParticipantI don’t understand why the Bucks didn’t try and obtain Marshall instead of one of the 2nd rounders. I can’t imagine his value is any higher at this point and it would give bucks some depth at PG and marshall might fit well with the other buck pieces if they were to get a strong SG.
