I love Kemba Walker’s game right now, one thing I am wondering is why is he not projected to go in the top 10 right now when Jonny Flynn was the #6 pick last year. Walker is a much better player than Flynn was, and I really don’t wanna hear that he doesn’t have the height to play in the NBA. Look at Chris Paul, he is 6’0 just like Kemba and Paul is arguably the best point guard in the league right now.

I am probably gonna get negatives for this, but wherever the Jazz are gonna pick with the New Jersey pick, which is probably gonna be around the 6-9 range I hope they take a serious look at Kemba Walker. Devin Harris is a good point guard, but I would like to see them go in another direction at point guard. The Jazz will probably have a pick in teh 12-14 range, where Walker could go, but I rather them take him in the top 10 rather then hoping he falls to them. Kyrie Irving is the first player I would like to see in Utah, but if the Jazz don’t get the #1 pick which is highly unlikely Kemba Walker would be the next player I would love to see in Utah playing for the Jazz.

The thing about Kemba going top 10 is that he is always going to be an undersized SG… Most of the time, those guys are considered great 6th men.. Not starters… He is a change of pace type player… You put him in when you offense isnt working well and you just cut him lose… He can make defenses change and get you original offense back on pace… I like him as a player but at the end of the day, he is going to be a Nate Robinson type player than can fill it up in limited minutes but can not lead a team…

With the utmost respect to you and your comment, I completely disagree 100% with what you just said. Your statement is flawed is so many ways. Here let me educate you on basketball. Your trying to tell this world about 6th men? Kemba 6th men? Are you not watching what the fuck is going on in college basketball. Theres one player whose completely dominating the game in every aspect except for rebounding and blocking. Homie, and please are you really going to compare Nate with Kemba? Nate’s game is not even close to what Kemba is. You know what Im wasting my time go watch Kemba play and stop jacking off to your mom’s 12th grade picture.

If he turned out to be a "great 6th man," I think the Jazz or any team would be perfectly fine with that. Sometimes the 6th Man is just as important as a starter (Jamal Crawford, Jason Terry, etc.)

I didnt say that.. I just said that teams drafting in the top 10 are looking for starters… Thats why he isnt going to go top 10…..

Oh I gotcha. If he’s the best player available and there’s not a player left to fill the void in their lineup, should they take him?

What do you mean?? Like if a team weak at the PG position was up to draft and he was on the board, do they take him, Yeah… I mean I guess… IDK… It depends on who is left on the board and what team it is…

He is definatly a servicable player but I think he is like Nate Robinson, Ben Gordon, Will Bynum, Toney Douglas…  Servicable but not going to carry your team…

men are very key to championship teams. a team with a defensive minded sg  to start would be perfect to match with kemba who can come in and just worry about scoring kemba to the knicks lets get him and TD coming off bench together causing alot of havic

I think Kemba only shoots alot becuz he has to, yes Uconns role players have improved but they havent made huge jumps in their development to the point where Kemba could relax a lil offensively. They dont have many options as far as big time perimiter scoring so yes he is asked to play off the ball. But he is still a playmaker but just not in the traditional mode of being pass first. I see him as a version of Tim Hardaway with less strenghth. I think he will find his way in the league real good becuase he has very good 1on1 skills which the NBA is based on an he makes plays. He really has done alot with a team that wasnt really picked preseason to tear it up this year, an i feel he got robbed for not gettin Big East player of the year. Kemba has got heart and a killer instinct along with the fact that he can flat out play and i would definately take him top 10 in this weak draft.

im from ny and while in high school i seen kemba a lot in tournaments he is a true pg at heart but uconn isnt that good a team to where he can be that all they have some good frosh but aside from that there bigs are inconsistant, also kemba is one of the biggest competitors ive ever seen he will try to do anything in his power to will his teams to victory, i think he should be a top 10 pick and imo he will be a better pro then jimmer and marcus morris who are projected to go in the lottery so many teams that could end up in the lottery can use him det, tor, char, sac, and the nba game will also allow kemba to be a real threat in the open court with his quickness and speed and he is a big time closer and clutch player
