alexsonic60ParticipantIt’s time to talk about the big fella from Bosnia.
I’ve heard his name for the first time this winter and some people agreed to say that boy has a good NBA potential. His name sometimes appears in 2014 mock draft, especially late first rounder.
What do you think about his NBA potential ? He has the potential to be drafted this year ?0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/14/2014 - 2:18pm #879124
TyroberParticipantI know DE is really high on him. They were tweeting about moving him into the lottery and that the lottery might be too low for him. After watching a few scouting videos it looks like he moves really well for his size and is really efficient. I am terrible when judging international talent, but he does look like he has a ton of potential.

PhillytheKidAre tough guys. They have Mongol blood in them. They are thick. Think Eastern European like Gortat or Pekovic…if he’s nimble on his feet thats great…toughness is no question. There’s a big difference between Eastern Europe (Pekovic, Gortat), and Western Europe (Pau Gasol, Rubio)…just sayin.
Not to be outright prejudiced, but Eastern Europeans are very tough people.
I need to see some video of the guy!

GronounoursParticipantWhat a ridiculous comment. Eastern Europeans are big and tough, Western Europeans are frail and soft. Great.
If you mention Pau Gasol, why not mention… Marc Gasol? Does Marc have "Mongol blood"?
And of course, no-one has ever seen a lanky, soft Polish, Ukrainian, or Romanian BB player… They are all bulky and willing to battle inside… It’s genetic.
Seriously.

BornaskulParticipantI have watched him play in 6-7 games this year and I can tell you he is using his limited minutes very well , he is very strong , a good rebounder ,has a post game and ft shooting isn’t something he is bad at (around 70%)
The problem is his atheticism . He can run the floor but his vertical isn’t very high. He also tends to get into foul trouble early .
All in all he definetly has NBA potential.
