Just me or Espn extremely lacking draft coverage?
This time last year the debate between rose and beasly was beaten to death...and now we can't even get a 3 minute clip on it.
Whats the deal!?!?
This draft sucks
I agree ESPN is slacking. Chad Ford is the only one who talks about the draft ha.
Who is there to talk about? Griffin is the obvious choice for number one pick. Its not like the past drafts where we had Oden/Durant and Rose/Beasley debate.
There are still a ton of good players outside of the #1 pick. There is plenty to talk about.
Hey Gator Heels mind copying and pasting the draft buzz for today?
But not much exciting players. By the way I'm new to the forum so I'm wondering how the point system works? I have negative points for some reason.
that would be because its not worth talking about...
also all things owned by the disney corporation are on a short leash...
if the draft isn't worth talking about then why are you on this forum esperanzafleet69?????
this draft is not considered great. It is still exciting and one of my favorite times of the year.
It's a sports network & it is a slow time of year for sports, so it does seem a little ridiculous the lack of coverage - even in a (possibly) down draft.
impressed by nbatv. The draft previews combines and former drafts, for example right now on nbatv the 2007 nba draft is on.
my guess is monday thru thursday they will talk about the draft half of sportscenter just like they do with the nfl draft. it will be ric bucher and chad ford along with some side interviews from andy katz and john hollinger.
WAT IF KING JAMES COMES TO HOLLYWOOD INSTEAD OF THE BIG APPLE STRONG POSSIBILITIES AND SURE ENTICING WITH THE CLIPPERS DRAFTING BLAKE GRIFFIN TRADING CHRIS KAMAN OR ZACH RANDOPLH OR WHY NOT BOTH JUST THINK ABOUT THIS LINEUP... C.MARCUS CAMBY
^ start a new thread based on that. this is a different topic. also, stop with the caps lock!
I saw a little four minute special on college point guards yesterday. Espn basically just stated the obvious (curry can shoot, teague has more finishing ability than Curry, etc.) That is pretty much all I have seen from Espn other than the occasional bs Chad Fird mock draft.
about espn lacking coverage of the draft. instead they are talking about tiger woods and lefty , baseball, and sammy sosa. but i dont understand why they are not trying to hype up this draft. i know its not deep like the past drafts. but they are actually hurting themselves. because they are broadcasting the draft on their network. so if they dont hype the draft or talk about it. then no one will watch it like that.
everything thats looks decent to read about on espn is friggen insider. cmon, show us nba faithful some L-O-V-E!
