Nah thats lopsided and wouldnt make much sense for the suns in my opinion. Giving up Nash AND Gortat for just J-smoove and teague seems to be a bit much. not to mention they give up trade exceptions that could be useful. not feeling it.

I guess it’s possible, but would never do it if I’m Atlanta. Teague showed his vast potential these playoffs and while he’s not untouchable, him and Horford are the biggest pieces of the Hawks moving forward. They trade for Nash and have him for what, 2 years, maybe 3?? Gortat has looked great but that has a lot to do with Stevie but Hakim Warrick is not worth it. I would want Markieff too. In the words of Yo Gotti, "Not Happenin’ "

This isn’t the worst thing I’ve seen but since we are taking on Warrick’s contract I would have to insist on them taking Marvin and then throwing in a 1st round pick next year.
The problem is that Nash is getting old and won’t be our PG after next year. Basically we would be losing Teague and Smooth for a one year rental on Nash and Gortat. I think we lose on that deal unless other pieces are included.
If the Hawks are going to trade Smooth then I would expect more than Gortat and a one year rental on Nash.

ok then replace warrick for morris and add maybe a draft pick. it would make suns better for future and make Hawks better now while keeping there future ok. it seems like a win win.
