jaysmith1987ParticipantEvery year I come up with a guy I think is underated and might actually be the number one player in the HS class. This Year I think its Julius Randle. At worst I see a more athletic Zach Randolph. This guy has am NBA body and will overpower players in college ala LBJ. He is def not LBJ but he might be the college versions. He can shoot drive post and he’s a lefty. As of know hes around 6″9 250 by the time of the 2014 season he could be 260 with good athleticism and power. I’m not guaranteeing anything but he is my dark horse number one pick for the 2014 NBA draft.

nick5354ParticipantI don’t think he is underated. He all know he is a man mountain with great power and body for a teenager. Very mobile and athletic with a great skill set coming out of HS which is a rare package for a PF so young. It is more of a case that he is in a HS class with 2 amazing talents. In many other years he would be the no1 player out of HS, however, Wiggins and Parker are sensational. Not really a darkhorse as he is the 3rd best prospect coming of out of HS.

cuseflynn10ParticipantHe could go 2nd depending on team need. Unless Wiggins drastically under performs, he’ll be going #1. Parker and Randle are pretty much 2A and 2B at this point.
It’s obviously way too early to tell who will be better in the NBA as both are still finishing up their senior years, but I think I’d rather go with Randle as SF is a much deeper position, especially over the last decade. Not that PF hasn’t been that great, but when you place Parker up against LeBron, Durant, Carmelo, Wiggins, and loads of other SF’s he will certainly be up there but I doubt he’ll ever be at the top. Randle has the athleticism to get to the top at the PF position one day. Dirk, Garnett, Duncan, Pau, and a few other top notch PF (some are more PF/C) are drawing closer to the end, leaving who is the top competition? Blake Griffin? Griffins good, don’t get me wrong, but when we’re talking about becoming the best at your position, he’s easier to surpass then say LeBron, Durant, Carmelo, and/or Wiggins.
