negguaryParticipantBryon Scott is benching both of these young guys for at least the next 5-10 games! Does this hurt them or help them? Does it help the Lakers win more games.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantAlright, I have to know. Did you intentionally spell all three of their names wrong?

NBAjunkie81ParticipantThe Knicks, Sixers, T-Wolves & Lakers Tanked their brains out in 2014/15′ – This year Brooklyn has no incentive to tank but the Sixers & Lakers are at it again….. NEITHER team is developing their young Draft picks & I think it’s a disgrace…..
I feel like I’m watching a game of Chicken to see which Franchise can be more Terrible….. These are Two historic NBA franchises that have become the Drek of the league & it’s awful to watch…..
The Sixers finally threw in the Twoel yesterday (I hope) by brining in the "Godfather" Jerry Colangelo – hopefully he puts a real NBA product on the floor Immediately & now the Lakers need to do the same by Dumping Jim Buss, Mitch Kupchack & Byron Scott….

Gold ChainSmart not to build around Derrick Williams and Evan Turner.
They already passed on Porzingis and Okafor because they didn’t fit with Randle.

I CALLED GAMEParticipantB.Scott is on a power trip, he’s hurting them by benching them & then having them come off the bench. This will hurt there confidence. But check out the stats from last nights Lakers Pistons game and you tell me who should have been benched
Clarkson – 30min, FG 3/11, Reb 3, Ast 1, Pts 7
Bryant – 26min, FG 2/15, Reb 3, Ast 1, Pts 5
Hibbert – 25min, FG 3/5 Reb 5, Ast 2, Pts 8
Randle – 24min, FG 5/9, Reb 11, Ast 0,Pts 15
Russell – 22min, FG 5/9, Reb 2, Ast 3, Pts 12

trelos6ParticipantB. Scott is a genius.
By letting Kobe jack up 20 shots a game, he is teaching his Mostly young team the value of passing.
They will see that they rarely see the ball, so after Kobe retires, they will realise, if I pass, I will NOW get it back, as the other players will be more inclined to pass.

Ahkasi ClayParticipantSwaggy P last week told media that "Players" should stop throwing up bad shot.
immediatly got sent to the dog house and has played about 10 minutes the last 4 games
Russell Indicates that kobe shoots to much, Is immediatly pulled as a starter,
Coincident?
or is Kobes ego so big that it has turned Coach Scott into its personal B!tch?

Magic JordanParticipantB Scott has been Kobes personal Bltch the whole time.
It would make sense to me if the players that were moved into the starting lineup were outperforming Russell and Randle but they aren’t.
Aside for Jordan Clarkson Randle has easily been the Lakers 2nd best player.
If this is a Scott move or a FO move, or both then the most troubling part about this is they still don’t have an accurate understanding of what this team is and aren’t properly evaluating their roster as being the 2nd worst in the league. That to me is the most troubling part.
If anyone has a legitimate reason for Lou and Kobe playing 30+ mins and Ruseel and Randle playing 20 I would love to hear it. I am open to reason. The problem is one doesn’t exist.
Roughly only 60 more games of the most brutal farewell tour in history.

HitsterParticipantMaybe putting Randle and especially Russell into the 2nd unit, it moves them away from Kobe so he can try different things year. There is the issue that Kobe is taking bad shots and nothing has been done about it, maybe this change is part of some bigger plan Coach Scott has.
Benching Kobe would not go down well and if KG always starts when he plays for the T-Wolves then Kobe deserves to start when he plays. The Lakers fans want to see Kobe in the line up at home but on road trips Kobe can be sat out for some game and there is nothing to say how many minutes Coach Scott plays Kobe each night either.

Meditated StatesParticipantCoach needs to be a man and sit that man. Coach should be fired immediately. Always sucked as a coach.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantI have already given up on trying to understand Byron Scott’s rationale for doing things.

MatosParticipantLakers are tanking. They’re masking it with Kobe’s farewell tour but management knows that having that pick this year (top 3) is important in their rebuild cuz they’re not gonna be winning anything anytime soon. Quite obvious folks.

I am an idiotParticipantWhat better way to tank than cover it with the farewell tour for Kobe? You keep playing the HOF player out of "respect" and keep your top-3 protected pick. If this is like other tank jobs, you dump the idiot coach at the end of the year as well.
