Josh Jackson canceled his workout with the Celtics. Too me this means one thing he’s headed to the Lakers. There’s no doubt in my mind. The  difference between salarys from pick 1 and 3 is over 8 million over the 5 years. Philadelphia also has the same weather as Boston. There’s no reason he wouldn’t work out for the Celtics unless the lakers have him a promise. ive lived in LA and from Boston beeen to Phili multiple times and LA is the nicest place of the 3. Does philly take Ball or Fox. The suns must be salivating about the chance to put ball next to Booker.

Or he doesn’t want to play for Boston OR he thinks Fultz is a lock for number 1.

Yea this may just mean Fultz is that much of a sure thing for Boston. Fultz only worked out with the C’s and Kings right?

Could the lakers be making a deal with the 76ers involving the number 3 pick and d’angelo Russell…..pair highschool teammates Ben Simmons and Dlo..

Sixers don’t want d’lo. Especially for the third pick.

I don’t think this means lakers promised. The salary from 1st to 2nd isn’t that big because almost no one exercises the 5th year player option. So it’s more like 4 million over 4years.

My guess is he just would rather not go to veteran team where he’s competing for minutes with crowder, jaylen brown, Marcus smart and Avery Bradley for minutes at the wing spots. All the other top 5 picks pretty much guarantee him a starting spot.

seems like fultz is a clear number 1 choice. Not sure I’d waste my time if I was him.

Ball and Jackson are very even to me. L.A. needs a guy who can drive and open things up and if Clarkson is the 6th man (he opens things up), Jackson can be the one to drive. Ball can’t. Today, you’d start PG Russell SG Jackson SF Ingram PF Randle/Nance. But in the future, it’d be nice to start PG Russell SG (an excellent shooter) SF Jackson PF Ingram.

They need to target shooting SGs, but I don’t think you’ll find multi-faceted marksmen after Kennard (whom the Lakers probably can’t get). They also need a defensive center who can cover ground. But they probably won’t find one in the draft since Jeanne is out.

Top prospects won’t work out there due to log jams:

Jackson-They have crowder,Brown and maybe soon to be Gordan Hayward…So it may take too long for him to crack that rotation, especially at his current build and with his current flaws..

Ball-He could maybe go their but if he does it basically means they are moving on from I.T or Bradley..But as its known he wants lakers and turned down a work out.

    That leaves:

Futlz-He has already worked out their and seems to make sense if A.B bolts and probably doesn’t mind easing in to it as long as he is getting paid.

Fox-But would you take him with the Number 1 a bit risky but could make sense

    and

Taytum -Could maybe play Pf/Sf maybe even small ball center so makes sense also…

My guess is one of the following has also happened: To my understanding Jackson has done the following:

Worked out for the Suns and Lakers definitely and Jackson held work outs in Sacramento so this could have had Kings and 76ers there also…

So my guess is he may have gotten at least "if you are there when we are picking you sort of vibe from someone in the top 5 not top just top 3” So Jackson is probably like I’m going top 5 anyone bar celtics I could possibly start on their team/get a chance to start so why bother with Celtics…
