Bird_YearsParticipantI love this kid, and I’m hoping he can turn into a star for the Raptors. He was making a lot of mistakes at the beginning of the year, just getting used to NBA play it looks like though. He’s had a really good month in March, averaging 11.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks on 61.5% shooting.
If you exclude his first couple games in March, his averages since he started playing over 30mpg (March 10 to March 31) he’s put up 13.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.2 blocks on 70.1% shooting.
He has range almost out to the 3 point line, shooting 40% from beyond 16 feet for the season and has shown flashes of a good back to the basket game
I’d say his upside right now is maybe a mix of the Gasol brothers, obviously he needs to put in a lot of work to get there but it looks like the Raptors could very well have an All Star center in the making.

phila9012ParticipantI think he will be better than them, He is shooting as good now as they ever shot from the different ranges on the court from basketball reference. I really like him and I think he can make 4 or 5 all star games. He is turning 21 in May, so he should develop into an all star

European BasketballerParticipantThere is not a chance in hell that he will be better than Pau Gasol.

PHILA9ParticipantSeems to be the only glimmer of hope on that Raptor squad.

Bird_YearsParticipantSpeaking of non-glimmers of hope on the Raptor’s squad, I sent this April Fool’s article to a bunch of people today at the office, nobody was please lol

lalailaParticipantan allstar center in making!! I hope so at least..
last year his hypes has slowed down (made someone forget after avg 23ppg 14rpg 3bpg in a gold medal run in U19 people compared him to Gason or european Duncan) after an OK season, and now he can rise his game with out any presure..
my boy is rarely athletic and long(7’6 wingspan) for an european, he hustles he rebounds but don’t underrated his improving post moves and little jumpshot..
and even though he shoots realy well from the line for a Center if you research you can be actually dissapointed his FT % isn’t well above 80% as usually

Bird_YearsParticipantI think his FT% will climb as he gets more attempts per game. It’s hard to shoot well from the stripe if you only step up there a couple times every outing
